Oh my, I trully am silly. Well, I didn't read what I was "clicking" into. I thought I was about to get a pool about whether or not I want free trade and/or wilderness. But, well, I just clicked accept. The thing is I like RuneScape as it is now. Free trade is already a rare issue for me.
Of course, it's great to give big gifts to your friends, but with free trade this system is overused. I mean it. It allows gold selling on sites - and I don't think it's very easy to ban those people. Come on, how can you buy someone with just a picture on some site saying he is gonna sell this account/sell some gold. This is not a proof and I doubt Jagex would hire undercover agents to detect those people
As for Wildy, I am not a big fan of how it is today nor am I a big fan of how it was back in 2007. If I had to choose, I'd stick to how it is now, but, well, let's be honest: revenants aren't ... very ... challenging. Of course, the high level ones, like dragon - yup, you can say it's not easy to beat that one, but for me something from wilderness is missing. I'm hoping to find something to replace wilderness as it is today, without reverting it to the old one. I don't know, maybe some activity in wilderness (besides pvp and bounty hunter), something that would spice up fightign with revenants (like the more of them you slay in one go, they are more eager to hunt you and call for some stronger buddies).
Seriously, NO to old wilderness (if it was possible, I'd love to be deleted from the list of people wanting old wildy back). Penguin Hide&Seek with billions of players wanting to kill me (just for fun or eq if I have any? I don't really like the sound of it ...
