I say no to the free trade but yes to the wildy... to an extent.
Free trade was really nothing but truble. scams, hackers and real world item trading. it also gives rich high leves the chance to over charge and lower lever for an item not worth more then 3mil. the trade limit should stay... but maybe raise it.
And as for the wild. it was great to be able to go out there and eather get attacked by someone randomly or attack someone randomly. but with all the mini games out there and such i think how they have it with bounty hunter would is just fine. that way if someone finnishing a clue scroll or laying clan wars they can do it in peace with out fear of being barraged by and 130+ pvp party.

Well that's the basics of profit ofcourse you have to have the green higher then the red to be in the black.
The question is would the profit that they already turn increase or would it go down? I guess if enough people lost faith in the company it could potentially reduce quite dramatically. They might even operate at a lose for a change if it goes down enough.
Sometimes you do have to cut losses but sometimes those potential lose is not worth the gain. I guess it's like that old saying a bird in the hand is worth more then 2 in the bush.

Here's the way I see pkers wanting the old wild back... Even though they can fight all they want in pvp they dont like it because everyone there is ready for a fight and therefore a challenge.
If the old wild is brought back then they can atttack players that are minding their own business, doin clues scrolls, mining stars etc.
If, as mentioned a few times above, jagex were to keep the new wild in a few worlds all those that really don't care for pvp wil just go there to do any wild trips they need to do... Then wuts the point of changing the rest of the worlds wilds?
Lastly, I would encourage baby steps, start by gettin rid of trade limits and see where the economy goes from there...

First Change the Voting Option. I almost voted yes not realizing their was not a NO option. I am against changing the Wilderness totally. I played this game years ago whent the old wildy was active, got scammed and left. I was a new player and had no clue what was happening to me. If it was not for a friend a number of years later that reintroduced me to this new version and new Wildy, I would have never played again.
Plus I love doing Clue Scrolls, and I know that would not be an option if it is changed. Reallly if it is changed, I see no reason to continue playing.

all those wilderness activities will not be bothered by pkers if wild is brought back. chaos tunels do not have revs in them, it is not an active wilderness area. neither is the zombies from that quest and neither is clan wars. those are all safe zones against revs therefore they will be safe against pkers.
PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU POST THINGS LIKE THAT! YOU ARE SPREADING LIES!

i disagree with the fact of wilderness and free trade my answer is no... and people wanna think about this seriously, cause when they get hacked and wing about their money stolen through free trade it's their own fault, and jagex even if they get 80% for it to come back ban it for ever, like it never EXISTED cause i bet you will have alot of complaints.

The chance of jagex reading this is small but i'll give it a shot . :)
I've been playing runescape from the day that they released RS 2 and i've seen runescape change in a lot of ways. I have quitted, returned, quitted, returned and so on and so on.. becouse its a part of the game.
I have been lured, scammed, backstabbed, killed, over and over again but it still is a part of the game. The fact that wildy comes back doesn't say that clue hunters are lost now. NO, they did it like this in the old days too, so you guys wouldn't have any problems.
As far as the vote goes, I vote YES to this. and so should you do it. Runescape used to be a game of more freedom then this. Now the economy is controlled and the drops are luck not skill. Kill a guy in wildy with full third age and you could end up getting a dragon scimi. It doesn't matter how your playstyle is or how good you know the game its all about luck. This wasn't there in the old days. if you killed a guy you got what you where aiming for. If you got killed then its becouse he was better then you where.
So I would say, for the sake of the fun of the game, bring it all back and fight only the people that aren't playing by the rules. i'm talking about botting, scamming and gold sellers,... .
Don't forget : If you get pj'ed is part of the game. If you get rushed it still is part of the game, if you get farcasted this still counts you should know better, if you get clan banged then your still unlucky to be at that spot at that time.

I hope that I made my point clear. All the people that say that runescape is FINE how it is, is a proof that they didn't know how it was before 2007.
