The results are now in and with 91% of the vote, you've told us loudly and clearly that you support the restoration of Free Trade and the Wilderness."

On behalf of everyone here at Jagex we want to express our sincerest thanks for your votes, feedback and for playing such an important role in deciding the future of your game. We have been overwhelmed by the number of you who took part and are extremely grateful to all those who took it upon themselves to campaign so passionately both for and against the proposed update.
While the percentage of votes speak for themselves, it's important that we seriously consider all of your feedback and comments. So we'll be sitting down this weekend to carefully consider the next steps and will make an official announcement on Monday 17th January.

Who cares if we have to wait a few more days? Unfortunately they now have to carefully plan out how they do this to prevent all these people who don't seem to notice that wildy and free trade worked perfectly fine, in fact better than what we have now, from complaining for the next few months.
I'm sure they are also trying to make sure they are prepared for what will come with this.

I dont know why so many players on this thread are so narrow minded. Alot of people are saying dont bring it back, IF ANYTHING AT ALL, ATLEAST! ATLEAST! Let me get the items off of the player I killed and deserve! This stupid random drop really was a bad idea. Its just like running out into the middle of the wilderness and dropping 30 mill gold when I dont get those dragon claws I just pked. Because the player isnt keeping them either. I think their should be seperate worlds that have the old wilderness, and for those cry baby 9 year olds who cant handle a game there should be a regular pvp world as well. I say why get rid of anything? Have a world with free trade and for those too, how to I put this politely, 'primitive' to avoid getting scammed can sit in their own little worlds and enjoy the bad economy Jagex's restriction of free trade has placed on Runescape. (Sorry Jagex, but the economy really went horrible when free trade was removed). As you can tell, I for one feel very strongly about the return of free trade and the old Wilderness.
BRING IT BACK!

I like the idea of getting the old wilderness and free trade back, only thing that sucks is:
What to do if you need to do something in the wilderness..
like penguïn hide 'n seek, or treasure trails...
I hope JaGeX finds a good solution to this... O_o
