I understand your intentions and wishes and yes, you are right, people do have the entire game to train skills, etc, but aren't pking worlds/bounty hunter enough for you? Although the return of "old" wildy may bring back memories, they won't neccesarily be the ones you would remember. Instead, they will be tainted with all the new things that have came out in Runescape since then, such as graphical updates, and lots more. Don't you think this would simply jeopardize your memories? Because I'm sure this wildy won't be the same as "old" wildy.

So what your saying is theres only around 160,000 people that actually play the game?
What about players like me who go on every once in a while?
I myself go on to check my kingdom once a week, or might get on to do a GWD trip with some friends.
So does my vote not count as genuine because I don't play every day and am normally not included in the 160,000 you see a day?
160,000 on average are on a day at one time; over 750,000 are genuine member accounts.

1 million votes is most definitely NOT excessive. Jagex itself has been quoted often enough as saying that they have over one and a half million registered users. Just because only 160k are playing at any given time doesn't mean you cannot have 1.1 million votes. There are many people with two accounts, such as a choob account, maybe a pure, and perhaps even a very high level 'main', and since they can't be on two or three accounts simultaneously, it is no surprise to me that you never have the full 1.1 million or 1.5 million or whatever the total number of registered users are on at once. Its simply not possible. As for one person with multiple registered accounts, it is certainly fair for them to vote as many accounts as are registered. If they are paying for three accounts, they are entitled to three votes, or whatever the number of accounts they have.

True, although then again, with this being such a large update, and the majority of players who've came back as a result, it would be detrimental to JaGeX to pull the plug on this, unfortunately. I hope your right though.
