the game survived. if they had not gotten rid of the stolen credit card problem, the game wouldnt be able to take any form of credit payment, including paypal, text, phone, or other.

...What's the difference? Botting is still botting no matter what the purpose is. Besides even if you don't need to bot to level your account up people still do it anyways.
the difference is, there arent 120 k bots in the game farming gps to sell.

Why does it matter if they are selling the GP or not? They're still botting which ruins the game for other players.

no, i said they stop using stolen credit cards to pay for the bots membership when there was no way to transfer the money.
they no longer need 120k bots since they are useless. if they cant transfer 10 million gps in an instance, they have no use. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

its kind of pathetic the excuses the 'no' voters are coming up with.
i wont mention the scamming bit because ive mentioned it before and dont feel the need to burn the few braincells the lot of you have left.
but botting****;-- this. you mean the thing it was shut down for in the first place. it is still here, and in bigger numbers, but because jagex has made newer, faster, easier ways of getting cash rather then purely skilling. the people that make bots (im not going to say bad things about them, i know a few people and there very intelligent, ive learnt java,c++,c, sql and several other languages from them in the last few years)have just made bots that do these things rather then skill.
and there are still alot of bots, when was the last time any of you visited the yew trees in rimmington on ANY world?not to mention the fact that jagex have even proposed the change means theyve probably thought up several ways to counter bots.

what matters is that before, they had 120k bots in the game gathering the gps, which meant that one out of ever two accounts online was a bot. they are the ones that left in such a large number back when the updates were done. thats why it went from 240k to 120k over night. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

well if we use common sense, credit card stolen hasnt been proved to have gone up or down, all its defiantly accomplished is more account being hacked bc now the gp sellers ask for you acount info and they will put your gp on the account bc they know sercret ways to trade gp...ill hope your smart enough to know what happens next..
