The people who argue against free-trade and wilderness changes are ignorant and flawed in logic. If they were to spend even 5 minutes of asking people questions or going to what I call bot "hotspots", they would see we already have a large amount of bots increasing each day, already have a form of scamming in the Grand Exchange where Merchants scam innocent players out of their money with dodgy investments and it is said wilderness activities will be relocated, ending the stupid "I cant do this or that" debate.
I would actually prefer the straight forward scamming that I could recognize and avoid, and teach others to avoid rather than getting pmed by bots saying "make 501m on ____ clan chat" and not knowing if what I want to invest in is about to crash. Seriously guys, give free-trade a try, I'm sure you will like it. And remember, vote "yes".

the vote is over... over 90% voted for, i for one wish that it was separate, free trade vote and wildy, i prefer wildy the way it is but free trade is sumthing cannot pass up. they should make it that only some worlds have the open wildy and some do not.

its still against the rules. not everyone can afford to have multiple members accounts, which makes this unfair to those that cant afford it.
irreguardless, your still breaking the rules and can get both accounts banned for it.
this though, is the very key difference between pkers and skillers. skillers play by the rules, why pkers generally (not always) dont consider the rules fair to them, so believe the rules are not applicable to them.
no matter what, it is still jagex game and they have stated it is NOT allowed. it doesnt matter if you consider it fair, jagex doesnt.

i have spent HOURS inthe hotspots and havent seen anything like what happened under free trade.
the first time i log on to chop mages and cant because of dozens of bots AT EACH SITE, ill be canciling my membership.
the first time i cant mine because all the sites have bots, ill be gone.
the first time the price of sharks drop to 500, you can consider me history.
this is the way the majority of players are.
what you are goingto find, is the game is going to be filled with pkers, and bots whose membership is paid for with stolen credit cards.

only for a small fraction of the players. the majority were skillers who had to deal with dozens of bots at all resources. they had to deal with the prices dropping 50 percent due to bots. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

Lol 91% says yes bring it back, i agree but for those other 9 % that got scammed, being scammed or getting your account hacked its YOUR own fault if you cant take care of your own runescape account how are you going to do that in the future with a bank account?

not unless i want to make useless accounts just to vote. the majority of skillers dont want to waste their time. what they are willing todo is vote with their money once jagex decides to insult them.
unfortuantely, when that happens, it will be too late. the damage will have been done.

...No I truly don't think RWT companys will go to such extents as to barrage votes, they still make money whether theres free trade or not..
they cant make near as much money selling accounts as they can selling gp. they have to spend their own money onthe accounts, where as with the gps, they spent stolen money to do it.
people arent voting no because they got scammed. they are voting no because they dont want to spend all their time earning money, just to have pkers take it away. the old wild, jagex consider skillers to be secondary to pkers, and they are considering telling the majority they arent wanted.
believe me, if we arent wanted, the majority will leave. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

I think thats ridiculous the way you put it, i have been playing for about 8 years now and quit when old pking went out. The new style is udderly stupid. The old style is actually worth it. I dont know how many drops I have had that were exposed to be like 2M but were 100k... Ep is dumb in my opionion. I think when the old style comes back as the majority of voters have pretty much made it people will realize how fun the old runescape used to be... Now they just need to get rid of that new ridiculous prayer book and get old hitsplats back and runescape is better than ever. Also i think if you have started playing this game in less than 3 yrs you have no say in what happens because you have no idea what is going on. Gl with this i know im voting yes because i know how good runescape used to be and how good it can be..

what is a factor is weither or not the majority of players are going to put up being insulted but this again. jagex was losing players left and right before the updates because of the bots and the insults from pkers. they came back after the update, but if jagex insults them again, they will be gone for good.
only 62k pkers and merchants quit over this, but there is goig to be a lot more skillers doing the same if jagex decides to turn skillers in to pker food. frankly my dear, I couldn't give a dam. never had a river to build one on.

It's an update that has been waiting to come out. Many friends of mine are in extreme excitement for this to come out. I'm personally hoping we achieve the recommended amount of votes needed for it to come out. I'm also hoping it doesn't take 6 months to implent, rather 2 weeks.

I think the people who voted no are just scared and want a protected world. The reality is that this game was popular for years before they took free trade away and it will remain popular years after it comes back... so if you don't like it then please quit now and stop wasting everyones time. The endless "threats" of quitting members are tiresome. This was a VOTE and you all lost the vote... better luck next time.
