I agree with your idea of bringing back the wilderness, but not the free trade.
Trade limit should be completely banned from the game, and a quest teaching new players how to not get scammed is just babying people.
This game is for people age 12+. Getting scammed isn't something new players have to worry about, as being on level 3 - 30, players don't much of anything worth scamming.
If you cant avoid being scammed in rs, i feel sorry for you irl.

If i payed 200 grand for my trade limit or safe wild i could see your argument, this would harm no on except the lazy noobs that whine about not getting everything on a silver platter. How the hell do you compare this to banning green cars and someone losing out on thousands of dollars? Your analogy is flawed severely.

With the way runescape was before, there would be no point at all to bring one back and not the other.

There is a trade limit between players, the wilderness would be used to for trading items all the time.
======= FREE TRADE W/ CURRENT PKING RULES ========
Player A gives Player B 500k. Player B lets Player A kill them for the drop in pvp world. Aid to Eping right there.

Bringing one back without the other will keep the game unbalanced. Alot of people enjoyed the game the way it was, free of trade limit and pking drop restrictions.

That kind of beliefs made the "new runescape" be built on non-sense comments like yours which claim a more "fair" trading system. and you know what? nothing changed. The noobs are still beggars and there are still scams around. I expected this all my life because the new runescape didnt do change nothing at all rather than just annoying big traders.If new players get scammed im sorry its their trouble. Make some campaign foundation to educate them .. it isnt our problem.

3. Remove upper and lower limits in the GE.
If I am willing to sell ____ for 9K. I should list it at 9K, and it should sit there at 9K until it sells, or I pull it out. It shouldn't ever go to sleep ZZZZzzzz.
this goes along with free trade, but if free trade fails - why not remove these inside the GE? It still prevents player A from selling something to player B - as they have to use the GE to remove upper and lower limits.

Dryflyer, im not blind to compromise, I just haven't seen a good enough reason to restrict the wilderness from returning to how it before the update of 07'.
Also, your point seemed to be something about "hords of pkers attacking runecrafters". Thats a joke.
You noobs always want to play the poor old defenceless player being savagely attacked by the big bad pker... give it a rest. You know the risk of entering the wilderness is that there is a chance of being attacked by a player.

Yes, there are some people who do PKing against people who are equiped to fight back.
I disagree with the concept of old wild, and pking - because of the wimps. You know the ones, they sit at the top of the river near the zammy mage - to kill runecrafters and other people unequipped to fight back.
With D&D (fallen stars & penguins) , we'll have an entire new class of these wimps. Heading to miners at the stars... Or the penguin hunters...
So it's not that unreasonable to ask for free trade (see my vote #3 perhaps), and no wildy pking.

Well this makes taking it away in the first place seem like a very stupid idea - which it was. So what was the point? The only logical reason I can think of as to why you would bring the wild and free trade back is so that profits can sky rocket with all of the players who YOU KNOW will buy into memberships again. But why now all of a sudden?
