To Jagex:
I vote NO for free trade and the wilderness. To be more specific, NO on these topics:
-unrestricted free trade between players
-unlimited staking in the Duel Arena
-Party Room drop restrictions removed
-lower and upper price limit removed
I despise scammers, farmers, and bots. I already like the security measures added to limit these scumbags. There’s absolutely no reason to drop these security measures. I’m for the old Wilderness, but if it will increase the amount of real-world traders, then NO. I rather have a safe and secure environment than a corrupt one; competing with farmers and bots everywhere.
Keep up the good work Jagex.
To Players:
All of these measures are to prevent scammers from completely wiping out a stolen account, or severely limit real-world traders from making transactions with buyers. As for the GE price limit, it limits merchant clans from having free reign on the GE prices, and adds stability to the market. And finally, the old Wilderness' extinction was Jagex efforts on severely limiting real-world traders. I’m assuming all of this is Jagex’s intent.
The reasons why free trade and the Wilderness were removed as quoted by Mod Osborne on the first page of this thread, “As you know, we removed free trade and the Wilderness in 2007 to combat botting, gold farming and item scamming.”
