Reokkedude, the Grand Exchange is still going to be around. However, I miss free trade, and trade worlds. That brought a really good feeling to this game seeing cities spammed with players selling things.
If you're worried about hackers, than you don't know too much about computers, or you're a young player. My best advice to thwart hackers, is to read Jagex's advice in keeping a secure account. However, I will offer my own personal advice to it as well, which is remarkably the same as what Jagex offers.
First of all, don't give your ******** to friends, no matter what their excuse is. They don't need it, it's not their account to play on. I don't care if they're your class mate, your your best-friend. They will more than likely hack you if their is something to gain off of it. The same goes with your siblings.
Secondly, don't download third-party software for the game. If Jagex doesn't offer it, you don't need it. Not all software contains malware, but why take the risk?
Make your pass hard to guess, and use a combination of numbers and letters. I don't think Jagex will let you use symbols, but that will certainly help. Don't use your birthday, don't use your dog's name, don't use your name. The more random it is to you, the harder it is for anyone to just "guess" it. Jagex also prevents you from saying your pass in the game, preventing you from being scammed out of it.
In conclusion, if you're worried about being hacked, you're doing something that you shouldn't be doing in the first place, and thus breaking the TOS you agreed to when you first signed up.
I can also recommend to you some great anti-virus software.
