Yes. Definitely can't wait for old wildy to come back. Why? Because I began my journey in 2007 and the first thing I did was attempt to fight in the wilderness. First time playing.. so I failed miserably, but it motivated me to continue and train so I could seek redemption.
Well since it's gone there's nothing else do with my friends really. Quests and the side games can be fun and exciting..
But not as exciting as the old wildy.
So I'm sure this decision will be a great one.
It's a big part of why I'm playing.
Reannouncing will obviously make a bigger impact then the last.

Wow, stop whining everyone.
It's not a surprise RuneScape is rated 13.
Over 13 year olds have at least some brain to focus on the trade screen and not get scammed.
Jagex has shut down many sites of gold selling and botting, and will continue to do so.
And what if you see a bot after the update?
REPORT THEM. There's the simplest answer you can get.

And remember those good old RuneScape? The first day you pked, the first item you got from another player for free, all those happy memories. Those happy memories could be awaken and brought back to life if the update would come true.
And what about the player count? Surely numerous bots will arrive, but *hey can be easily taken care of.
How you say? Simple, click the Report button.
Everyone from the private servers will also come to see the amazing world of RuneScape. I also quit the game, but this update would bring me and another 200K to the Players Online list.
So think again before you vote 'No.'

Its not like there is a pker in every inch of the wildy... Us veterins know that. It was rare to see someone past level 10 wildy, and when you did, most of the time they wouldnt be your level, or wouldnt attack you because they were trying to do a clue or something.
In other words... you will be able to do your little clues in the wildy
About the trade... I was never scammed, and what if i wan to pay 30k for a varrock tele? or what if i want to give a newbie 50k to help him start? Trade limits restricts the prices of things way to much and gives Jagex way to much control over item prices

im siding with alx here, if you think that pures risk so little.There are far too many types of pures going around atm to group them together and say such things. it would appear you dont have any past experience of the wildy and if you do then it was short lived.
edit: i think with whats going to on in runescape atm account sharing isnt even worth jagex's time right now.
