One sided poll, options between being stupid or keeping your mouth shut, the whole thing looks like a badly planned sting operation in an attempt to get a long list of potential cheaters. I really don't know what you're doing here Jagex, but it appears to be badly planned or... badly planned.
Think about just the flaws in the "poll"...
Think about all the problems that were supposedly avoided, headed off, fixed or eliminated by making the changes you're talking about undoing now. I read the first ten pages or so of this forum and then skipped to the final page, where people had diminished themselves to name calling and other insults back and forth. I wanted to vote NO, but apparently that's not possible. So I suggest you throw this whole referendum or poll or petition out and start over. It was improperly conceived and executed from the get go.
Now, my opinions on the issue at hand are as follows: I think that old wildy sounds like it would have been cool, but I cannot see how you can bring it back and keep all the really good content that's there now. PVP is fun, and sometimes I wish it were possible everywhere in RS, like instead of reporting someone you could just kick their ass and take their stuff, but I don't know that I would want to miss out on Treasure Trails, one of my favorite activities, because they led into the wildy and I knew there were tons of PKers awaiting me. Revenants, (all you illiterates please take note of the proper spelling), are bad enough, but please don't bring back the old wildy with no option for a PK free world to do penguins and clues in.
As for free trade I think that should be brought back only in a limited way. I know that sounds like an oxymoron, but hear me out. What if people who have been friends for over a year could trade with no limits? What if people who had been friends for 3 or 6 months could trade with limits, but those limits were alot higher than they are now?
Think on it...
