i think anyone that played rs before this major update would definitely vote yes in the poll. I think its absurd what they've done with the game. Everyone that used to play but stopped (like me) will definitely agree that Jagex made the right choice by trying to revert back to the old rs. I also think many more people will start playing again. I know i will, and same with a bunch of my friends. I've started training in anticipation for the wildy, and i would hate for this training to go to waste!

Wow, just found out about this and i have to say, why bring it back after you did a hard work of removing it?
True you lost a populairity of 65% but that's because you guys hated the RWT's and botters.
You knew you'd lose numbers like this and were prepared for it.
Now all those who have quit will (not many of what left) come back just because you re-activate the old free trade and wildy.
this is my oppinion on it but also have to say that i'll be coming back since that was the reason this game was so fun.
Wildy, knowing your way around in dealing when trading and setting your own limits and gathering information on your own and not beeing lazy and let the G.E do the work.

To the next JAGEX MOD who searches through this forum and happens to stumble across this:
I have been playing for atleast 6 years now, quite some time. I have taken many breaks within those 6 years but i sure remember the old wilderness and free trade and it seemed like a great thing at the time but with the way things are now it is much smarter to just tweak and alter things like you have been doing instead of reverting back.
-Make GE more flexible.
-Create a 1v1 pvp wilderness, only multi-combat Player v COMP areas. (to eliminate luring)
-Have certain level requirements for unlimited trading, for example a level 90 couldnt free trade with a level 3-35, which would slow RWT a bit.
-Im sure there are many other things you could come up with, since i spent literally 5 minutes thinking and came up with those and more.
Its just not a logical move. Its ill-sighted and will go to no good. I voted yes because i thought i wanted it but after thinking for a bit it just wouldnt make sense, regardless of what these new players think.
I REALLY HOPE A JAGEX MOD READS THIS.

Personally I believe that the people that got scammed in the first place are Stupid. If your stupid enough to "give" someone your item for the "trust game" then its your own fault you got scammed. Its like in real life if someone asks to borrow your credit card you dont say yes. You assume they are going to steal it or do something harmful with it. People just have to use their common sense and if it seems too good to be true than it probably is.
I also agree that the botting did get way out of hand. But as we can see if you place a marker seed ontop of aubury today, the bots just pile up because they can "right click" then there is 20+ bots stuck there on about every world. I have fun with this because after you pick up the seed all the bots flock towards aubury again and tele.
Personally I loved the wilderness and highly recommend they bring it back along with free trade. If you do your best to keep the bots to the minimum then there shouldnt be so many complications.
Have fun, and alteast consider bringing it out, i Dont want this just to be some advertistment scamm to get more people to become members.

i am not really a pvper but more of a skiller, and although this will bring back bots im fine with it. maybe you could bring in a competition on reporting bots or something?

FOR ALL THINGS HOLY ON THIS EARTH!!!! MAKE THE WILDERNESS AND TRADE COME BACK!! thats the runescape ive loved. and if people complain about being scammed there obviously under 13, becuase theres a second box after u accept showing all the items names. so get OWNED. and PLEASE make this update.

i heard from a friends they are bringing back old wildy!i mean thats why i stopped playing this game lol. i just had to get on and see if it was true and it is! if it does happen to come back i will be on this game 5 of 7 days aweek!!!!!!!!! i loved the old wildy.

and the new trade crap....REALLY? i am an old rs player and iv been scammed alot and trust me i mean ALOT! Yet i still played. i just made everything back. dont cry about getting scammed....USE YOUR BRAIN!!!! look at trade careful lol

I think this is more about getting more players to play. People do need to realize that this is a company. There in it for the money.. Not for anything else.
