All these people who think that every inch of the wilderness was patrolled by massive clans on every world are idiots.
Back then everybody managed to get their clues done and their runecrafting etc.. and if a skiller or somebody doing a clue was attacked, they brought a teleport or something to escape.
I don't see how people can be against this update, if you don't want to be killed, be prepared or just stay out of the wildy.
And who the hell is against free trade, it will make trade faster and more open, kill all those scum merchanting clans and bring back real merchanting, where good decisions and risks could make you millions very quickly.

ok i just want to make sure all you nerds out there understand whats going on. jagex doesnt care about you,"honour"(its an online game wtf does that even mean), or this game. they care about the money, plain and simple. the wild will come back within the next 2 months after hype has built up. So for all you overweight nerds who are saying jagex dont bring back rwt blah blah blah. heres a message for you, STFU. its getting annoying.

I have quitted for good a time ago because of the "new" rs.
To all those idiots saying they got scammed, that was one of the things that made RS "exiting", also things like finding a rune plate on the ground or seeing someone with a partyhat in the wilderness.
Now its a "kids" game where the only thing that matters is the time that you put into it.
The old "feeling" that made RS epic in the old days, might come back a bit now even tho it's ruined for me forever.

I keep hearing people say that return of wildy = luring people to their deaths, scamming, etc will take place in the wild. Seriously? A warning, a big freaking ditch, and a bunch of people attacking each other isn't enough to say "Hey, you risk dying in here. Don't come in unless you're willing to risk what you have."

I remember when the wild and free trade was taken away. I quit the game not a week later. I was a member and payed every month and thousand upon thousands of people who never broke the rules were punished as if they had been the bad guys. Not only was it unfair, it wasn't very thought out. Thousands upon thousands left the game...and to me it ruined the only thing I really enjoyed playing in the game. My member ship should have been refunded as well but it wasn't. :D either way after years rumors have circulated and I am now back hoping this game can be as great as it once was.
On a side note the GE is a nice touch, but I personally loved the game game when you had to use the forums to meet up with people in select worlds and do the deal and trade face to face. It was more sociable and less sterile..like it is today. I thought it felt more realistic, but an auction house style just makes more logical sense. Still cant help but miss the old days. :D

i wonder why all these noobs are crying about the update...
everyone who did play before the new update will say that 'old school' runescape was cool! If u did start playing before that new update, and now u vote now then ur bad, realy bad! why did u even start runescape then if u gonna cry about it now?
i bet all the cry baby's are the players who started playing after the new update...

btw i love it that wildy and free trade wil come back, but it wont be the same tough with all this new weapons, 'old school wildy' was way cooler, just whip/dscim and dds and hybriding.... to bad we got all these new weapons now... but still the game will improve if they put wild and free trade back

yea, I liked the old runescape before the updates. I liked player killing and free trades. Jagex always say they want the players to be happy. Im glad they are finnaly letting us get a vote in. Even though it took them a few years. But I guess its great we can do it now. Maybe they should make votes like this more often for future updates. so the player decides, since most of us does pay to play the game anyways.
