We all can tell that this is an attempt to correct the mistakes of the past decade in preparation for the next. As someone who has been on RS almost as long as it's been around, I feel I need to explain a few things before I cast my vote. My brothers introduced me to Runescape in the Summer of 2002; the first MMO I had ever seen. I chose my look, my username, and the profession I wanted to pursue; fishing. I continued to play until the Winter, and after obtaining a then free Santa hat, I quit playing until the beta test. After that I casual dropped by, but I never continuously played until the spring of 2006. Things were getting more complex, and I was enjoying it even more. I was not a PKer, never enjoyed it. I remember the day the wilderness was removed, I was...unemotional; it didn't effect me. Then the trade laws; being someone who had lost 2 Santa hats to hackers, I was a wee bit happy. With the new trade laws in effect, and the Grand Exchange, I was making a healthy profit as a fisherman. Now we are here deciding whether or not to restore the Wilderness and remove the Trade Laws. It is with great motivation, and my love of this this game that I cast my vote...
YES, RESTORE THE WILDERNESS AND REMOVE THE TRADE LAWS

It may seem strange that I would vote for something that would be detrimental to me, but Runescape is about more than that. We play MMO's to escape our daily confines, it seems foolish to impose such limits in our haven. I want the Wilderness restored and the Trade Laws removed, because it adds more to Runescape; it makes the game better. We're not hear to learn lessons in Socialist Economics, we are here to have fun! Heavy restrictions and removing something many players held dear is not the best course of action. Jagex, you, just like your players must take the good with the bad. If a good game means hackers and gold farmers, then I suppose we'll have to deal. That being said, I ask you, Please remove the Trade Laws, and Restore the Wilderness

okay so the minority of people posting on this saying "please dont bring back old pking, new pking is better" are you for real? clearly you are the people who 76k with other people and are happy with your massive 200k loot.
Go kill people for ags's, claw's, barrows sets and all the other fun stuff REAL pkers kill people for and pk in. As for the free trade it would be nice to have back but keep the ge around with its prices as guidelines.

While I know many people who want the old wildy back, I dont. For many reasons I believe that the polls are unfair in many wany ways.
1.) You can vote as many times as you wish
2.) There is no against vote going to keep things the same
there for many voices are not heard.
While I do agree that the rule of not being able to kill the same person twice in one day is unfair the old wildy has lost its appeal to me, and I wish to keep things the same. If the old wildy were to come back I have one wish and that would be to have diffrent worlds were you can have old and newer wildy, or maby even bh crater. As for trade limits, this will just bring back more real world trading. That is something that rs can live without. I support Jagex in all the steps that they have and will make, because they are just doing it to better the game. (even though i dont 100% agree with them all the time)
So,hopefully there will be more supporters for my side that agree with me.
BTW to all those people who flame this comment, dont I wont bother reading them so dont bother writing them, thanks.

I vote a big YES to this update.
But what a shame that we will never reach the ideal vote. The poll is getting from 700-1100 votes a minute. The avarage being 900. If this poll lasts as long as I think it will. Then by that time we will have close to twelve million(12,000,000/12M)votes.
In my guess, there are over one billion (1,000,000,000/1000M) accounts made out there that count as "the whole".
There are groups out there with bots specificaly made to creat accounts, name them something stupid. (ex. Yogibear12, Yogibear13, yogibear14, yogibear15, etc.) So this being said. We will never get enough votes to reach the majority.
I am sorry for all of you that got excited for this.

Let me just make this analogy.
I would compare the wilderness and free trade removals to my girlfriend. When she left I really missed her and all the good times, it took a while to move on. I haven't seen her for over 3 years now. Now I see her coming back. It seems too good to be true. Then I ask myself, do I really want her back? It just wouldn't be the same as before she left. :|

Most of these people wanted free trade and old wildy back when they made the update,and now they finally decide to think about it and you're saying no...
