WHAT A GREAT IDEA, i mean it will bring back old rs which is wat every1 wanted??? more people will play rs, more people will have fun lyk they used to. tbh i will be paying my money for membership afta a couple of years not playing if this changes just so once again i can pk lyk old times ^_^

Please read ALL these opinions with an open mind. I never called anyone an egomaniac. I simply said it was ego based which is only possible when there is a seperation between You and Me. (See Buddha...circa 2,500 B.C E.) I never called anyone names, especially personally, like some of these posts.
Some folks would like cooperation and calm skilling. Where's the crime? To disagree with your wishes?

I Love the idea, though the only thing i can see wrong with it is now its going to be hard to do clue scrolls again. maybe change one of the pvp worlds to a non-pvp wilderness world for all the clue scrollers to go and do their level three clues? Just an idea, but i would rather have the old runescape back.

@keplersLaw you put one hell of an argument :D you can tell you've a higher level of education then the other guy at the very least in english and I agree with everything you've said.You've managed to see it from the other side of the argument and provide answers for everything on this topic and I think that all of them should be moved to the 1St page with big flashing lights so that people read them and stop trying to put across the same argument.

Okay here's the thing I started playing runescape around 2004. 2006ish they took away killing players in the wilderness and took away free trade. I for one was, how shall I say...confused. Then they brought in the G.E. The G.E. is possibly the best thing ever to come into runescape. Now in 2011 they want to bring back the wilderness and free trade. But keep the *.*. I'm not so sure about this. But i will let it go how it's going to go.

Cooperation? Fine, no problem.
Calm skilling? By all means enjoy your skilling.
The wilderness however is a dangerous area of the game by its very nature and the idea that people are getting a free ride whilst training skills like Runecrafting for example or gaining vast wealth from a clue scroll that they had to defend against very little to finish is something I'm against. There are too many shortcuts and it devalues the skill/purpose.
1 million people roughly have voted in favour of these changes and therefore I can't see why there's even a compromise being brought onto the table? The vote is unanimous.
See this as a flame or a sincere attempt at exchanging opinion, I don't mind either way.
