Now I know that a lot of people are against free trade only for the reasons of RWT and Botting. Let me assure you, while the update slowed them down, by no means did it stop. I am confident that Jagex has the technology and the power to deal with both of these issues, even with free trade. I would go as far to say that the percent of people who bot hasn't changed either. Yes, less people bot, but also less people play. If you look at it that way the update has not really done anything to combat the percentage of people who bot.

free trade IMO <--- (notice how i said in my opinion haters)was the worst of the two to be taken away. Its was what made the freedom of the game and with the wilderness, pretty much made the game. in the end, this is a competitive game and at the moment theres no competition. you skill. you earn money. you level. wheres the fun in that, theres practically no way of earning the spoils of victory from others like there used to. And if its only those, then whats the point in playing. you dont get anything out of it. I havent spent any more then an hour on this game since the update because i lose interest. im not working towards anything. everybody already has skills.

Human dragon has pointed out the biggest reason that we shouldn't be so worried about RWT and botting "coming back". It never stopped. It's only changed. You can easily find RWT sites still active. Strange that they are still running if they were stopped so effectively by these updates.
And whoever said we didn't have enough votes, rumor had it that a mod said we needed 1m (didn't specify 1m votes yes or in general). If they meant in general then we have 1m, and 90% are yes. I'd say that 90% is a pretty clear majority :) .

Hi Jagex,
I think that what you guys/girls have done for us in the last 10years is amazing and that you really have created an awesome entertainment outfit.
I have been playing for 7 years now and have been through a lot of Runescape's growth and was very happy to see the wilderness go to its own separate worlds. This meant that I no longer had to avoid a certain part of the world and was free to explore it without being killed and having all of my hard earn stuff taken.
I'm all for the return of free trade but I am against the return of the wilderness.
maybe you could hold a voted poll that is more detailed so that you can see how many people are feeling the way i do.
Thanks Jagex team
Flamingrino.

1boo i think that was just speculation like casual conversation "itll be good to get atleast 1mill votes" sort of thing. but none the less weve by far got the majority, its stayed at 90% all the way through whereas 'no' started with around 9% votes and has droped to 7% and thats quite alot considering there are so little.

Maybe we can start trading in fally park again. Man do I miss those days. It won't be nearly the same though it never is. Especially since so many years have gone by, and people that don't know how to REALLY merch. "
