If the old wild is brought back, I do wish that you'd keep it to certain worlds so doing activities that require players to go into the wild won't be at risk of losing their items.
Free trade - that's welcoming RWTraders back with open arms and a few stacks of benjamins on a gold platter for them. Gold farming will be back in full swing.
ALTERNATIVE SUGGESTIONS:
=Make Wild specific worlds, like with PvP and Bounty worlds have.
=Alternative to previous suggestion: Make "Peaceful" worlds that are safe to venture into the wild without being attacked.
=Change the trade limit to 2,500,000gp per 24 hours, no trade limit for long-standing friends.

i jus* want free trade back but not wildy!
because i am scare about old wildy come back cause i need those nice mini games, and slayer those dragon without killed from pking player,

just free trade .. it should worked on grand exchange. because more easiest way!!!

I think the new free trade idea is absolutely ***derful.
Yes, of course there will be more rwt activity than usual, but that's inevitable, as we all have already seen even recently, with manipulation clans and rares... There will always be ways to get around the restriction, but they shouldn't hold back the rest of the people's gameplay.
Either way, reestablishing the free trade idea will give a rebirth to the wonderful community we used to have. More players will happily play and enjoy themselves, maybe not exactly, but very similar to like in "the good old days" of runescape.
And such a tremendous update HAS to have been thought through, and I can imagine Jagex worked through, or is looking into all the content based stuff, like the ge, pvp system, etc.
I am greatly looking forward to this.
