This is for all you haters out there against this update.
You can suck my left toe.
Your making a fool out of yourselfs, your acting like it's your life and you'll do anything to protect it.
Just stop grasping it and just let it be!
This is how Rs is suppose to be.
Yeah i admit the update has some downfalls to the botters/scammers but who really cares all games haves those material.
It's a game. Have fun and stop arguing about it.

Personally I love the idea of bringing back the free trade. Plenty of the people I've talked to today while fishing have said the same. There's some talk about the GE though. If free trade is brought back, does that mean Jagex will take away the GE? Some say they would prefer it, but me and several others say it should stay. I'm not saying Jagex has said anything about taking the GE away, it's just something many players have thought about.
Also, another note about free trade. One update involving trade I liked was that you could see the current value of the items you're trading. If free trade is brought back, then that should also be kept. This way newer players won't be scammed by more experienced players hoping to make a few quick k's.
As for the old wild... Most people were horrified when it was taken away. I myself was dissapointed. But still, now that I've time to get use to the new wild, I've come to like it to a certain point. Back then it was a goal to get your level up so you could kill other players and take their stuff. Now I realize that it can be an annoyance when trying to get to clan wars and such. I vote that it be brought back, but only to certain worlds. This way lower level players can venture in without fearing that some high level player will wipe them out and higher level players and enjoy the old days (assuming they played back when we still had the old wild).
Hopefully you'll pay attention to all the post here and take some of the advice. Better yet some mods could even sit in over at some popular skilling zones and listen to the player's conversations. This has become a very popluar subject, and I assume it will remain one until the new update is finally released. Just my own personall thoughts on the matter :)

This is fake. I know I just said that that other guy was a troll, but I just saw the screenshot. It looks legit (or photoshopped by a pro) I've lost all respect for Jagex, I'll never become a member and contribute another cent to this wretched, greedy, company. A spot on the world records book? Are you really that selfish? It's not that big of a deal. The voting page also had the little copyright symbol but instead of saying Jagex Studios Ltd., It said Guinness World Record. This was fixed within the first 10 minutes of it being posted. Out of everything this company's done, this is it.
EDIT: You can also vote your own name more than once. This further proves that this vote was made so that Jagex could get a spot in the world records book. This isn't happening. Jagex doesn't care about its players at all, it only cares about publicity and money.

"My vote is a no because, first of all, these are two completely different subjects in my opinion. Second of all, I was a member when it was 100% free trade and I was technically scammed on every item I bought at the time (people just sold too high, etc). I think the GE is a good regulatory system to at least let the buyer know that the trade is fair, or fair enough to that player. So if it was specifically about free trade, I WOULD vote yes. But I think the best solution would be somewhere in between. Something like :
a) Non-friend trade = 500k
b) Friend trade (1 week) = 1m
c) Friend trade (1 month) = 5m
d) friend trade (2 months) = 10-50m
d) friend trade (3 months +) = 25-100m
* Trade limits should never exceed 100m in my humble opinion, there's no need for it. "
okay you got it all wrong. if there's no secure economy like there is now, no item will have a specific value. so you can't say "100m" fairly because somebody might say an iron platebody is 100m, do you see where i'm coming from?

All i have to say to all the ignorant people is this, Where is my button that i can push an infinite amount of times for a "no" towards this update.
Apparently not putting your name in and voting yes in the poll = No.
This is the biggest flaw, if you can vote yes an infinite amount of times why cant i vote no an infinite amount of times?
IMO we will see both a guiness world record for jagex (corrupt as a record as it can get) and the re release of free trade the the previous wild.

It seems that we are voting on two topics that vary widely. The first topic is the old wilderness. The second being the removal of restrictions on trading. The old wilderness was more dangerous than the current wilderness, for one major reason. Revenants are AI. They move around in set patterns and attack when someone moves in that set pattern. You can predict their movements and avoid them with relative ease. And when they do attack, it's much easier to kill them, since they all have the same relative stats. Simply put, they're stupider than your average player. Actual players can camp hot spots and fight in ways that revenants can't come close to comparing to. I personally don't like the problems this could cause with two major quests, and one major boss now taking place in the wilderness.
On the free trade idea, I agree with this one wholeheartedly, on the condition that the grand exchange continues to exist, and that the "ge mid price" continues to show up in trade windows. This would make scamming items harder, and yet still give players the freedom to trade "rares" at "street price". Merchanting clans would lose power, since they would not be able to as easily drive up the price of items. It's a win win for both the average player, and the rares traders.
In conclusion, it's hard to vote yes on one idea when one can not vote no on the other. It would be easier to get a more accurate vote when the two topics are put to vote in two separate poles. Thank you for allowing us to vote on this topic, and reconsidering the choice you made in the past, Jagex.
