It seems that we are voting on two topics that vary widely. The first topic is the old wilderness. The second being the removal of restrictions on trading. The old wilderness was more dangerous than the current wilderness, for one major reason. Revenants are AI. They move around in set patterns and attack when someone moves in that set pattern. You can predict their movements and avoid them with relative ease. And when they do attack, it's much easier to kill them, since they all have the same relative stats. Simply put, they're stupider than your average player. Actual players can camp hot spots and fight in ways that revenants can't come close to comparing to. I personally don't like the problems this could cause with two major quests, and one major boss now taking place in the wilderness.
On the free trade idea, I agree with this one wholeheartedly, on the condition that the grand exchange continues to exist, and that the "ge mid price" continues to show up in trade windows. This would make scamming items harder, and yet still give players the freedom to trade "rares" at "street price". Merchanting clans would lose power, since they would not be able to as easily drive up the price of items. It's a win win for both the average player, and the rares traders.
In conclusion, it's hard to vote yes on one idea when one can not vote no on the other. It would be easier to get a more accurate vote when the two topics are put to vote in two separate poles. Thank you for allowing us to vote on this topic, and reconsidering the choice you made in the past, Jagex.
