In my naive belief that Mark Gerhard was truly looking for unbiased feedback from the player population, I click the link to vote and I am put on a page that says at the top "player name" and a "vote now" button. Unknowingly, the page opened at the bottom of it so the top header could not be read. This means that I could not see the "bring back the wilderness and free trade" header. How convenient to get a skewed result! This ensures that players think they are signing into a page to log a vote when actually signing in registers a yes vote! Players are not even allowed to vote no. So much for an unbiased voting system and receiving unbiased results. Can you say "invalid results"?
On further investigation, I find that any name can be put in and the "vote now" button can be clicked whether it is a valid RS account or not! This allows the players in favour of this issue to stack the votes completely in their favour without any interference or limitations. These are accurate results? NOT!
I RESCIND MY VOTE. I WANTED TO VOTE "NO" WHEN I CLICKED THE "VOTE NOW" BUTTON BUT WAS NOT GIVEN THAT OPTION. I WAS TRICKED INTO VOTING YES BECAUSE THE HEADER WAS HIDDEN WHEN THE PAGE OPENED AND INVITED ME TO "VOTE *OW". THE BUTTON SHOULD HAVE INDICATED THAT CLICKING IT WAS A VOTE FOR YES INSTEAD OF HIDING THE HEADER STATING WHAT WAS BEING VOTED ON.
Yes I am yelling. I am frustrated and disappointed in the trick tactics on display by Mark when he claims to want to see "if the vast majority of our players vote in favour of it."
How convenient that you only let those in favour of it vote.
How convenient that you trick players into voting yes.
Major fail Mark Gerhard. Way to stack the deck to get what you and Jagex want instead of what the players want.
What a dismal display of lack of professionalism and a kick in the teeth to so many players. This will be my last straw. If the wildy comes back, I am done. To hell with these games Jagex plays with people who pay to play RS.

The recent update on voting for the Wilderness and Free Trade back is, in fact, fake. if you see any members saying it's fake please post saying it is infact not, and the 'guiness world record' text at the bottom was a small mistake.
The purpose of this voting is to gain as many votes as possible to break a guiness world record for the most votes for a gaming related update in the shortest amount of time. w currently have no intentions whatsoever of bringing back the wilderness and free trade.

As a long time player I must say that if the vote passes, Runescape will once again be amazing. So many players will play again and commerce will jump up. I would like the GE to stay. The reason I kept playing was because of the way the game was set up; unlike any other. After the game was changed I have been coming and going.
VOTE TO BRING IT BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i have a great idea guys. this will benefit not just one group, but MOST of us.
1. the old pking style will be on "20" seperate runescape worlds.
2. you can decide with the person you are trading with if there will be a 10k limit or if it is a free trade.
3. the grand exchange will stay on all worlds. including the old rs pking worlds
4.pvp and bounty hunter worlds will be in their worlds, so if you like bh u can go to that world wen u log in.
if you think wat im saying copy this and post it.

i have a few questions to ask the jagex mods
the old wildy, will that be put back onto all worlds? or just pvp and bounty worlds?
the trade limit, in my oppinion i think it should be reserved for "friends" i've been playing rs for about 7 years now. and i believe if you let anybody trade anybody your bank's worth of gold you will ruin the game! where'as my idea is that if this "no limit" trade only applies to people that have been on each other's friends list for 1 year or longer. you will still hold off real worlds trading.
it will also let real players buy friends christmas presents. which alot of people have used as an excuse as a reason to re-apply the no trade limit.
if any jmods would reply here or care to discuss further with me ingame? send me a pm please
