THANK YOU JAGEX! WHOEVER AT JAGEX CAUSED THIS YOU SHOULD BE RUNNING THIS COMPANY AS YOU ARE THE ONLY SMART PERSON THERE. YOU CAN ADD ALL THE FANCY GRAPHICS AND STUFF TO RUNESCAPE BUT IT IS STILL NOTHING WITHOUT FREE TRADE AND WILDY!!!! I REMEMBER RUNESCAPE AT ITS PEAK WITH 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS. THEN WHATEVER IDIOT CAUSED THE MOST ******** RUNESCAPE UPDATE OF ALL TIME RUINED EVERYTHING. HOW COULD SOMEONE BE SO FOOLISH TO TAKE AWAY THE SOLE OF RUNESCAPE? DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND WHY PEOPLE PLAY RUNESCAPE? MAYBE THIS GAME WILL ONCE AGAIN BE THE BEST MMO EVER. CONGRATULATIONS FOR NOT BEING ******** JAGEX. IM GUESSING YOU WERE MISSING THE OLD DAYS WHEN YOU WERE MAKING ALL THE MONEY AND WERE FORCED TO DO THIS. EVERY TRUE RUNESCAPE PLAYER (OF REAL RUNESCAPE) KNOWS THAT SCAMMING AND ACCOUNT HACKING ARE APART OF RUNESCAPE LIFE SO LIVE WITH IT. i wish to post this for all you who complain about quests and activitys in the wild that you would not like to be pked while doing

About the Wilderness:
The Wilderness becomes a rather dangerous area again and players can kill each other for their items
PVP, Bounty and Bounty +1 Worlds removed (game mechanics may be re-used in the future)
New objects that affect combat will be analysed on an individual basis
Gravestones would still be used outside of the Wilderness
Various PVP items and gear will still be available and won’t become ‘rares’
Revenants patrolling the Wilderness will be relocated
Content located in the Wilderness area reviewed as follows:
Quests (e.g. Spirit of Summer) and Activities (e.g. Clan Wars) would be relocated
Other content (e.g. Treasure Trails, the Beacon Network and D&Ds) would be looked at on a case-by-case basis

1. In 07 when the wild was removed it didn't even do much to help RWT or Botting. Matter of fact more people bot today then they did back then. The bots are just better and harder to notice. You can still buy RsGold, someone pretty much just farms it on your account. So to the people saying the wilds removal changed all this are poorly informed. If you pvp or BH at all today notice that most everyone has 90-99 stats, yet they still can't pk at all skillwise. This is from botting stats they don't have the ability to use.
2. PvP compared to the old wildy is nothing. Every attempt for a pvp based side to the game since 07 has failed miserably.
It tore clans apart, and made the game less enjoyable. I remember how fun it was pure bridding at Drags. You met new friends everyday and clans were extremely fun and close knit.
3. Most of the people i've known on scape quit when the wild got nerfed. Alot quit because staking became pointless as well.
So at the end of the day jagex pretty much traded enjoyment and the fun factor of runescape in attempts to fix problems they will NEVER be able to control. Every MMORPG has a form of cheating, and the vast majority also sell items.
The best way to combat RWT would be for jagex themselves to add a Gp Purchasing service, that way its company controlled. Seriously, who do you think people would buy gold from? An untrusted site, or a trusted company such as jagex. In this most other RWT/GOLD/ sites would be put out of busness.
Bringing the wild back would be in this games best interest in every way. It's what made the game fun.
And to the person that said bringing back free trade would ruin Rs's economy:
How? Ge ruined Rs's economy. Items stayed at a very level price back when free trade was around. Sure item prices would rise and fall. But they do that now too? Onyx's have skyrocketed because jagex changed how much tokull they cost. Due to people STILL botting Tzar.

Open your eyes people!!! Im already afraid of getting killed by a rev but now I have to worry about getting killed by some untrustworthy, back-stabbing, inconpentent jerk that gets a thrill killing hard working players, grabbing their droped items and selling them at the GE to make a quick buck! I what to rome around runescape feeling safe and not having to worry about people killing me. I go to clan wars sometimes and I wear my best armor and wepons and lots of runes, so if im walking to CW, I don't want to be chased down by some jerk and have him kill me for my money or for a quick thrill!
But on a more positive note. The free trade will be wounderful because if I need a sword because a forgot to get runes at the bank, then if someone is willing to trade me then im set!

Go play the Sims if you want a safe character.
No one said you have to go into the wilderness. Clan Wars will be moved anyways, out of the wilderness.

When I first heard about the fact the wilderness and free trade was coming back, I literally almost @#$% myself.... This is what every single youtube comment on runescape videos involves... the good old days when this game was actually fun. I know people the haven't even played this game in over 3 years because of the trade limit and the removal of the wilderness. They all think this game is really lame now, but even they know now it will extremely fun and are all looking forward to playing again. Please hear me out jagex, you're making a very good decision... Probably the only good decision regarding updates in years! You will be having inactive players that haven't touched their accounts in years play again for hours and hours on end! Regarding all of the people that don't want the wilderness back and free trade limit, I wont cut straight to the fact and call you all morons, but instead I'd just like to say you're all making a huge mistake. Jagex, you will be making millions of dollars more from the return of all the people coming back on this game to play again.
Sure, back then there were a lot of botters.... But you wont have to worry about this as much anymore because your system detections have increased dramatically compared to 1999-2007. I will admit, I am aware of absolutely un-detectable botting software out there, but so what? No game company can be perfect.... i'ts purely their decision on botting and putting their accounts on risk. Thank you all for reading this and make sure to vote again, not on just bringing back free trade and the wilderness.... but on bringing back the most fun and addicting game I know back to where it left off!

Hello Jagex,
I am an older player who has experienced both Runescape with and without the trading limit and wildy. I can definitely, say, however, that the game has gone downhill since free trade and wilderness were removed. I eventually quit the game because it lacked these very innovative and exciting features that I believe were central to this MMO. If the WIlderness and Free Trade were brought back I would immediately become a member once again. This used to be such a fun game and I hope you stay true to Runescape's roots and decide to bring these excellent features back so that they may be enjoyed by all once again.
