have you noticed the prices of armour? for example barrows armour. have you noticed how the armour has significantly risen scince the removal of the old wild. specificly the helm. have you wondered why? well im going to tell you. the grand exchange is based on supply and demand. when there is less of an item and more of a buyer, the item goes up in price. when jagex removed free trade/ and the old wild, there were many thousands of barrows armours, in many players banks. after the new pvp ws relesed, it was made that the items you dropped were not picked up,they were deleted. so then the items would lessen in supply. and in crese in demand. so then the price went up.
now i belive this is very good for the game of runescape. it helps people who spend hours fighting bosses and monsters get what they deserve. it makes items more rare and helps people show thier wealth, without spending hundreds of mills on super rares.
my suggestion and i think it should be taken into very careful consideration is that when the old wilderness comes back, instead of getting the items of the player we kill, we et a cash drop of equivelent value. exept on certain super rares such as the gs etc.
i belive item deletion, along with free trade will be very important to the econemy of runescape. if you like my suggestion plese support.
