- Hello, even though I am **t a fan of player killing; I would like to see the return of the old Wilderness back. I enjoyed the thrill of danger that the old wilderness had. I died countless of times when I runecrafted but honestly it only made me a more aware and experienced player.
- The only thing that I fear is the free trade update. Its a nice update for friends but its not a nice update for everyone. This will bring back scammers and such, which would be a big problem. Other than that I am happy with whatever decision you make Jagex.

What ultimately proved to be the final breaking point for Jagex was when several of the banks that provided the credit card processing services for Jagex started to charge a much higher processing fee due to the excessive number of charge-backs that were happening compared to other internet-based companies. It should be noted that Jagex wasn't necessarily singled out individually, as nearly all on-line gaming companies have had to address this issue to one extent or another. In addition, these banks threatened to completely cut off these financial services, report Jagex to various credit bureaus as a fraudulent enterprise, and issued an ultimatum that Jagex had to get the RWT issue under control. Quite literally, the very existence of Jagex as a company was threatened and had anti-RWT policies and game changes not been enacted, RuneScape as a game would no longer exist either. - Runescape Wiki. Yet again, These are not in my own words. But very true!

Ok...I See we have some issues people have brought up with why the wilderness and free trade should be brought back.
(1.) Bots - There has been a solution for this since day one...REPORT ABUSE BUTTON. I believe that if Jagex were to "better educate" people on Reporting Bots and so on and why it benefits them to report the bot, it would help substantially to get rid of this Bot problem.
(2.)Scamming - scamming people will be much harder this time around, seeing as if anyone removes anything from the trade window it starts flashing red... so yeah... and if you dont know how much an item costs, maybe you should ask around and findout some other prices on it before you just give away all this money that may be twice the much its being sold for regularly.
(3.)Luring - THINK
(4.)Wilderness threat to clues/quests - Jagex has announced they are relocating all clues and quests which were involved with the wilderness.
(5.)Real World Trading - There isn't really much that can be done but its not like it wasnt done during the Trade Limit ages...
Basically Jagex has made a decision to take off Runescape Players "training wheels" and let them out into the real world once again after being locked up for these long painful 3 years, Players need to learn how to use their brains. Also PKing sucks now when u get 1mil drops from someone in full bandos well yea... hope you liked that presentation. thanks for your time Jagex <3.

OK, well I am just another dude just looking on forums to see what's up with the Runescape community. As I have read through some of the posts on this topic of the return of Runescape's past characteristics, I am very confident and o proud to say that a lot of the players on Runescape are STRAIGHT-UP-THE-ASS-DUMB-ASSES. Yes I said it. Here is my reason for why I claim this accusation.

Ok, now these are the comments that first prove the unintelligence of quite an amount of the Runescape population because I have seen numerous posts somewhat related to this quote, throughought this forum. First of all, when was the wilderness a place to be safe, protected, filled with happiness, or to even explore? I think some of you have showed your illiteracy in recognizing the word "wild" in the word, " wilderness." Jagex did not create the wilderness for exploring, neither for doing clue scrolls or treasure trails. The wilderness was invented for players to have an opportunity of battling other players for their valuable goods and items. Where in the dictionary on the word " wilderness or wild" do you see the words, " explore" or "safe." You don't. But it is because Runescape has STRAIGHT-UP-THE-ASS-DUMB-ASS players, that the definition of the wilderness has been manifested into some playground where children can play barbie-dress up for the rest existence of the game.
To furthermore support my argument, Jagex clearly stated in their post on the mainpage, that they would BE REMOVING SUCH ACTIVITIES SUCH AS QUESTS OR TREASURE TRAILS FROM THE WILDERNESS, but why do I keep seeing little 12 and below idiotic fools claiming that they're precious clues will be stolen by pkers? This is because we have STRAIGHT-UP-THE-ASS-DUMB-ASSES on Runescape. This game is.........

Way too childsafe, I literally feel like I am in a daycare. Why should there be about 45 signs warning people about the wilderness, when the word " wilderness" should clearly eximplify what shall lie in it. Adding on, in 07 and before, there was the old wilderness and clue scrolls that were still being taken place in the wild, so why do people keep complaining about clue scrolls being in the wild, WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN LOCATED IN THE WILD FOR ABOUT 6 TO 7 YEARS. This is because most of the idiotics are either doing one of the two. 1.) Hate the wilderness return thought so bad, that they just look at other STRAIGHT-UP-THE-ASS-DUMB-ASSES and repeat exactly what they said without even thinking. Or 2.) They are newcomers who haven't even seen the old wild yet.
I love the way Jagex babies players on this game, 13+ my dogs ass, this game is rated SUADA+ which stands for STRAIGHT-UP-THE-ASS-DUMB-ASSES.
I am done. ( Vote yes people.)

Killer, speak the truth man.
For all those who say "90% vote yes! it's gonna go through!" should really read this.
11/15 voters on the polls are new players too. So only 4/15 (go simple math!) are players who were around for old PKing to occur, if that. I'm guessing a good 3/15 are players who started prior to '07, which I am one of. Now please, take 90 and multipy (decimal) it by .2 and you get 18. So only 18% of the voters who voted "Yes" are old, experienced players who know what old Pking was about. You CAN'T do the same to the No's because the No's aren't creating bots that create multiple accounts just to vote. So really, it's still a majority for Yes, but how many of the 18% are Pkers who quit after '07? 40%? 80%? If 40, the percent of players who started before '07, and continued to play is only 10.8% That's still a little higher than the Yes. But what about 80% of Pking voters? It's only 3.6%, which is definatly under the No's. But is it really 80%? Probably not. But unless we do a survey, which most would probably lie about knowing its purpose, then we can't know for sure.
So in conclusion, only Jagex knows the true vote of this poll, because they have all the answers to the questions I'm asking. They can easily pull up the records and figuare it out. Then we can really decide who is the true winner. But even then, will Jagex go through with it, knowing how much good as come out of the removal of PKing and Free Trade? Well really, they gave you PKing, just not the old PKing. Actually, scratch that, Bounty Hunting. You've had PKing, and Free Trade from the drops, all along.
So really, there is no point in this update as Jagex has given the PKers what they wanted years ago. End of argument.
