personally i love idea that free trade is coming back.it will kill off mercher clans when people cant get items from ge with free trade they can get items from friends and merchers get cut off at the knees free trade to a mercher is like sunlight to a vampire so bye bye merch clans nice knowing you :P :P :P :P :P

ps am i the only one just dying with anticipation for free trade to kill off merch clans come on people this is going to be epic extinction of merch clans

You have no proof the vote is flawed so honestly shut up unless you can give actual proof. And @the other guy what we should do is let the majority decide, that's how everything is decided and that's how it'll be done.

To those complaining about the creation of new accounts to voting. You are forgetting that they are creating more accounts which doesnt hinder the percentage nearly as badly.
Example:
500000/1000000 Yes votes = 50%
600000/1000000 Yes votes = 60% (Flawed view)
600000/1100000 Yes votes = 54.5% (Reality)
Now take into account that runescape has over 10 million ACTIVE accounts and 130 million registered accounts.
A change of 100000 artificial votes (unrealistic for "botters" ) has an impact of approximately....
1% on ACTIVE accounts voting
.08% on REGISTERED accounts voting
Significant? not really......

I voted YES.
Quit Runescape and cancelled my membership after the update on 2007 after 5 years for two reasons;
1) No PKing which I enjoyed very much
2) No Merchenting in world 2, ( I used to merch santa's ), this was impossible now. World 2 falador was an amazing place to be, Grand Exchange in essence killed world 2. ( I know Grand Exchange came before but *ow it was the only way to merch and I did not like it)
Anyways I heard about this vote from a friend who still plays and I know ALOT of people who will be coming back ( From other MMORPG's) to play if this really happens.
Thanks for reading and nice to talk on the forum again.

The part of the majority to whom don't want it can't vote. A poll should have at least 2 choices. "Yes" or "No" would be nice. All those of us who don't want it can only boycott the vote, but our voices aren't going to be half as loud as those who can vote due to the fact there's no option. The vote is one-sided and should be revised so as to be fair to both sides, not those who want it. I quit Runescape due to hackers, so this really won't affect me. However, I don't ever want to play again only to be bombarded by scammers and those who bot. That's just my opinion, and I'd rather not get flamed for my beliefs, please and thank you. :D
