Would like to say a few things.
its clear to me who here played before the removal and etc...
there was a guy saying "why put it back if it failed before"
it didnt fail before it was a repercussion of RWT in the game.
Others have said "it will bring back the bots gf Runescape"
Sorry but have you ever trained a skill in rs? how often do you go to mages yews flax rock crabs and find botters?
all the time thats when open your eyes botting never went... Mod mark has spoken in his chat about how he believes that jagex's new systems are capable of keeping the situation under control and you need to have confidence in them.
and ive seen one of the best comments of the night tonight i say a guy say.
"how are you going to sell 200 raw lobsters nobody wants them."
If you knew much or had done your research you would know that the ge will most likley be staying and a recomended price would be put in there and you can follow that. i think it offers a good way to do it. also how do you know that they wont release a new grand exchange system where it shows inderviduals items. so instead of just putting in a price and it going it shows you whos selling what for what price...? seriously guys stop moaning about what youve never used and do research before you flame.
I believe that the re-introduction to the wilderness would revitalize what i see to be a dieing game. more market demand and new pass times to try your hand at. for instance you and a friend both have accounts and you wanna see whos better? put a bet on it "i bet you 100k i can kick your A**" you can go do it its simple... your not being forced to pk your not being forced to stake its your choice just consider others before you post about how much you hate the wilderness when most likeley you never played with it...

Doubtfly, you're not really making any point, because what you are trying to say is going to be ignored because you cant type a sentence without showing how the censor works...People would probably take you more seriously if you didnt insult them, and if you actually posted in a halfway decent way...

PS: Im not a "skiller" but Im against this because I actually remember a lot of the problems that RS had back then, and I dont particularly want to go back to them...Im hoping I will be proven wrong, but Im very reluctant to believe it will be all that different...

Well then picture this...
2007, JaGeX just got rid of the Wilderness and Free Trade...
A few days later they post saying : "We will never bring the Wilderness or Free Trade back"!
2010/2011, JaGeX is now asking for you're opinion(s) on wheather to not to bring it back!
So would you really trust them after they went back on what they said? I think not.

Well I think this whole process has been silly and it looks like a Jagex plea for help from the players as I would think that they would be out of ideas on how to combat bots or these GE clans. This is my opinion.
1. Grand Exchange - GE merchanting clans have become a major more detriment to the game than RWT. I say RWT should not be allowed but it shouldn't be absolutely looked because if your a low level account with 300mill and you buy a party hat big deal as I would think more people play for lvling, quests, and general fun rather than seeing how much money they have. The Merchanting clans have created a huge disparity between the really wealthy older players and the people are relatively poor or new. By inflating prices and making items even harder to get for low level players I think the old system of trade where you had to work for your money and you couldn't buy out the market in one go was more fair to everyone. The GE has made more people massively rich than bots or RWT combined and has created the division that I've noted. To solve those clans I think in terms of the GE bring in a permanent price as someone suggested before inside the GE and then people can free trade to see if they can get a better price not a floating price. Free trade also allows for gifts and transfering to pker accounts but in general I think Jagex is in a tough spot because there are alot of pkers who want to transfer money to pkers, I think the fact that you have to build an account from scratch is necessary but hard because there is alot of stagnant money in main accounts and the more money pkers have the better the loot for generally anyone. Note just because you have money doesn't mean your gonna rock at combat. Botters would ruin the exchange so it would be hard to have a constant sell price. SO everyone would just have to find a new resource to make money off of and be dynamic. Botters will eventually ruin yew prices but that can be fixed by new and exclusive botless resource

When I played back in the day, I would go to the wildy fully decked in rune. I could barely afford it and when i lost it it sucked. But truthfully, I'd rather lose it in the wildy where you have to go clear out there to do quests, mine, do whatever else. I could find people who were out there and kill them without them running to safety. When someone goes to the pvp world and lot of a time they stay safe. the most combat I see is at the edge of the wilderness. And when they are about to die they run to safety. I'd rather be able to be out in level 30 wilderness killing someone who tried to escape and have time to kill them just fine!

I agree, some people take this game too Seriously.. Such as Doubtfly.
I am a skiller but I too am against the return of Free Trade and the Wilderness, as I too beleived it did cause many problems. Many that were never resolved by JaGeX.
