What I want accomplished is for threads to be troll free, for there to be a disciplinary for such posts - it is very hard to communicate in a thread that is constantly trolled, people will avoid such threads, threads ruined.
This is, in many ways, what we strive to have as well. The ones on your threads have been extraordinary dedicated and it's genuinely a real shame. However, it does not help the situation that you do respond - which, let's face it, you do. It isn't how it's supposed to be by any means, but perhaps reporting immediately and ensuring things are removed before you post is something you can try in the future? I am not placing any blame on you whatsoever because I understand that there would be no reason for any of your replies if there were no trolls. You do however take a responsibility the second you post and respond to them.
What the Mod has stated in her comment that it is okay for such trolls to come in and destroy a thread if they deem it fit. This is very wrong!
It is not okay, no. Again, I did not action the threads in question myself, so commenting on this is minorly troublesome for me. I trust my colleagues to do what they reckon is best in accordance with the guidelines and their common sense in the specific situations. Remember, one can read posts in many ways.
So future threads of mine, if they feel, oh we don't agree with you, they will come in and set out to destroy.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion - assuming they can deliver it in a proper and mature way whilst respecting that not everyone might agree. This goes for both thread posters and those whom respond to those threads. If a player fails to do this, they'd be breaking the rules.
