This isn't a requirement listed on page 1, but I would assume that commentary will increase your chances of winning because there is only so much text you can fit on the screen at once (and it's awkward to read on a video). Commentary will let you explain things in greater detail.

Maybe leave the text for just headings and very brief points?

Pro-tip: Autodesk has free downloads for a lot of professional programs like maya if you're a university student

Edit: i was wondering, is it possible to obtain some raw video, like the intro used for the BTS video's? Would be nice to create a guide in line with other runescape video's. |'~,| A very cynical person

I doubt it. JaGex want uniqueness and it won't be as unique as it could be if players used snippets from other videos of other players/companies.

I would like to try, however my english isn't well if I have to leave some commentaries ^_^ .

I'm still not active on english forums, so if I have an idea to do two versions for two languages, is it possible ? :P

Several people on the forums have already created written guides for things like this that have taken a while to do... I'm assuming once a video is made and chosen, those written guides by people will be come useless...?

Kind of annoying a lot of the work people do on the forums goes unnoticed or ignored, while the team at Jagex are trying to promote other ways to show the same content other players have done, without even rewarding them.
