This is going to sound strange...

I believe there is a Mod Mat K imposter... The day the forums went down, I went off into twitter looking for answers, which there were none, so I asked whats going on under RuneScape twitter - nobody responded So I left, approx a day later I went back into twitter, a behold a jmod was following me I thought this was pretty cool, so I followed Mod Mat K back. I went and had a look at all his tweets and every single on said:

@(username) hey! Thanks for being an active RuneScape twitter user! Here's 2 weeks of membership... and you click on a RuneScape link (which we all know you don't click on).

Anyway I came into this thread to check the Mods name out, which is an official Mod name, even the same avatar (which I absolutely love). So I click on the official Mod Mat K, which takes me to his twitter page, which I'm not folliwing and all his twitters are different from the Mod Mat K that's following me and I'm following him.

I hope this makes sense and please investigate and if you need any more information please ask

I'm just wondering and I'm sure I read it somewhere - if twitter can give all official JMods a badge or extra title or something? Has or is this been looked into??

Runescape and Jagex are now officially verified on Twitter. The next on his agenda would be @JagexSupport. It isn't reasonable to expect Jmods to be verified, as their followerbase isn't sufficient and they are not an organisation or company (they are of course employees ).
