Exciting! Very smart you guys are doing runescape giveaway stuff, will make me want to work extra hard at getting money to donate!


Kinda sucks it's happening directly after bonus xp weekend, the time where everyone will have the least amount of gold.

hmm ... everybody, donate all of your runes to the well.
Once we've removed all runes from the game, their value will go up again.

Runes donated = money for charity.
Runes donated = items removed from game.
Fewer runes = more value in runes.

Win-win, right?

I will be donating and attending, but not to be entered in any drawing or achieving a title :P . Hopefully these celebrations are enough incentive for some newer users to the system help top what contributions were made towards the charities overall last year.

A few questions for you.


Q: Will prizes be different each week or the same?

Q: I read that three people are only drawn, per week. Depending on what the reward actually is, doesn't that seem a bit small? I imagine that many people will donate 500k, even on multiple accounts, so I see the odds of getting my name pulled would be 1/20,000.
