It's great to see the way this has progressed; the new, centralised FC, along with the advanced notice period being increased, are really great ideas!
(Format is good, too)


Hoping to join in with a few more on this acc, now there's more time to plan them in, and may be able to poke a few classmates into comming.



Just a slant-wise question: have you ever considered doing some semi-official tournaments for certain Minigames and activities, as an additional thing?

This'd be great for some if those which are lacking highscores, if you had the time, and could be a great way to encourage newer players to try things out competitively (a mixture of competitive and non-competetive events, can help cater for multiple kinds of fun!). It could even help with highlighting the best ways to improve some of the minigames, especially if there are unconventional formats used.

I know that there are many possible ways of doing such competitions, and would love to discuss some of them, if it were an idea that you could consider.


(Though I do understand there can be difficulties with tensions and fairness, if done conventionally, there are many of ways to counter or nullify these.

If it was found that a longer term investment in such things, on a turn-by-turn basis [between the activities], were an effective investment for the community and content, then a format which revolves around competing teams each training up a JMod, for an eventual tournament between those Mods (allowing for long-term interest via streems/blogs by the Mods), would work..

Just one of many possibilities )

As I'm fitting this in between work appointments and travelling round, I've started typing up some of the ideas on another thread, so that the short periods where I'm able to add to it can be made use of, without it ending up being a straggled idea, spread out around other things (I'm also not wishing to impact negatively upon people trying to use this thread for other things, if possible). I'll try to post sections as soon as they're digestible, so that relevant feedback on feesability and propriety can be given.
