Remember this part: "However, you will only be able to use the in-game name change function with 1000 levels in RuneScape 3 – if you only have 1000 skill levels in Old School, you’ll need to change your name by clicking ‘Account’ on the RuneScape website."

So, if you are an RS3 player, you can change your name in-game. If you are an OSRS player, you have to change via Account Settings.

This is not what i signed up for. I wake up at 5am expecting a quick name change (my mistake) only to get so many "server busy" messages. I've had my eye on one name for a while now, hopefully it doesn't get taken away or I'll be ******.

This is just ******** Jagex. I got to the confirm screen immediately for the name I wanted, but nothing happened when I pressed confirm. Then the name gets taken.
If you're going to do something like this get working servers. Please. Especially when you did it once already and knew how bad it would be. Please invest in servers that work if more than 2000 people try to access it. :)

I fkn opened that name change window 1 hour earlier, started clicking before u released and all I get is server busy.
