So... Just a little suggestion.

I am a newer player and I don't have a 1,000 total level, but I am going for a name to change to. If you look at my account you will see that I am a VIP Member. I think you guys should allow VIP Members and 1k+ people who aren't VIP members to change their names at the time of release.

Just a suggestion.

I can't understand this at all.

SO DO YOU NEED 1000 total to change name. OR only 1000 total for looking up is it available.

So can I change name when the patch comes without 1000 total?

I play OSRS.

PS:Very stupid limit 1000 total. I got 85 slayer and 30m+ overallexp but im not totaler so I have to worry about this. Why does jagex favor totalers? Why not total EXP?

That's just stupid. There are alot of people with 1 skill 200m etc real super-players with 99 99 99 stats but not having 1k + total. The overall experience more than 30million has usually played more than casual 1k+ totaler.

PS: So you don't know the answer either? Can you change your name if you play osrs without having 1k total? The update is written by drunken dwarf.

Pss: I know after 24hours everybody can change name. But right after under 1k total? Is it for checking only? or you can actually change it without having 1k total @osrs using runescape website.

Also cmb 100lvl + or 1000lvl skill total would be 'better'

You would have to be VERY bad to have 100+ combat and less then 1k total. hell I'm only 104 combat and over 1900 total. It's not that hard.

I never said its hard. I just don't need it. People play with different tactics for joy.
It just seems unfair that I am 111lvl osrs but I can't change a nick

Ah yes, there is one name I've been eyeing for quite some time that falls into this batch and is available. However, it'll probably be taken within 10 seconds since it's so popular :| But even if I'm not able to get it, I still currently have an awesome name, so I'll be fine either way.

With that said, hopefully the lag and errors and whatnot are less of an issue this time around. Good luck everyone! ;)
