This thread says "all you need to do is head in game and see if the name you want is available" but Mod Slayer's post said "check this thread" or something. So who knows. I would just keep refreshing this with a tab of your account management as well.

why would you possibly need 30 names, you wont be able to change names on f2p accounts btw so you're screwed if you think that's what you're going to do. this is to stop you from hoarding names.
