The royal rhino event was such a success and so are the statics shown here! Lots of pictures of the event have been posted on Twitter with the hashtag #WhoseSideAreYouOn if anyone is interested in seeing them.

I loved this event! What it did do however is suspend the full use of avatars, as anyone carrying one (those who needs to skill) cannot take advantage of that great 10% boost which is temporary. I wonder if there is a way to make it so one does not exclude the other?

I totally support another event like this. I did learn some things about rhinos. We have to take care of our planet as a whole.

Very basic analytics...

What would be better to show is an experiment within the data correlations. For instance, what was the effect of the event on external websites partnered with? What was the correlation of revenue streams? Did any users act as outliers and what was their deviations from the group?

Those type of questions might be better suited to be run instead of a simple cumulative bar graph.

The sentiment was nice, however the rhinos themselves (in-game) were extremely annoying at times.

If you were ever at world 2 burth around the daily reset, or at sinkholes, the game was almost unplayable because of hundreds of rhinos summoned in the area. I saw many players saying they wanted to kill/poach the rhinos because they were so angry. Jokes about selling their horns/hides. Obviously they were half joking, but their anger was understandable.

So good idea, but not very well executed.

Saying people want to save the rhinos based on how many have been summoned is like saying 90% players loved SoF just for using it.

Also, your awareness campaign was a bit half-assed to be honest.

-Daily questions were trivial information. I still don't know why Rhinos are so important.

-You made us Google answers to those questions. And then there were simply some questions that required no fact finding at all unless your english vocabulary or general knowledge is lacking. "Distinguishing feature, huh? I wonder if the answer is compound eyes?" Wow I learned a lot!

-You should have at least taken the joint effort with the rhino rescue team to compile a short article about key facts about rhinos. That way there's less to read rather than turning our brains into vegetables by too much (and possibly inaccurate) information on a W*kiped*a page. When there's less to read, we might actually read it instead of control+F'ing our way to the answer.

-What I did learn, though, was that Rhino poaching can be profitable if you don't get caught, and I could use that money to win stupid promotions like Gemstone Golems.
