So, in order to keep up with news, upcoming updates, sneakpeeks, etc. I'll have to make an account on all those websites and scrounge around potentially unorganized messes of posts to find the
droids
mod posts I'm looking for? I must be old for thinking that the official rs site should be the main place to go for such things
/rant
I actually don't use social media websites. I like the fact that the youtube specific sneakpeeks are embedded or linked to on the rs main page and in the forums, could that ever be done for the others?
Each platform has a different community and different specialities - so, for example, we couldn't put all the Vines on our YouTube channel, because they'd clutter it up - and equally, it's really difficult to host images on the likes of Twitter. Of course we're not expecting everyone to be on every platform, we're just giving people as much choice as possible
.
With regards to the embedding stuff, I'd like to get a Twitter timeline on the homepage; unfortunately, none of the other platforms will facilitate such things easily.

Pinterest should be good for players sharing their skiller outfits, gear setups, bank loot tab setups, desktop layout, room setups (better have rs stuff all over walls though), maybe guides. I don't know all about pinterest, I just know thats its basically an Idea page.
Tumblr should be intresting.
I have an idea of a video of youtubes, maybe send a video out saying that we are collecting photos of the rs community (inrl photos) showing off your runescape pride/spirit. Or maybe a flipagram of that idea?
I have lots of ideas for the community, but still thinking of ways to say it in correct terms.
We ask for images from the players for our Pinterest page - we've got some great screenshots and funnies on there already if you fancied checking them out?
And as for the YouTube idea - the wheels may be in motion over the summer... Great minds

Will you be looking at the comments on your sponsored adverts on Facebook? I see them often but when I click on the comments there is always stuff that would probably put potential players off clicking the link to RuneScape.
I realise that a lot of the Facebook users will probably not click on the comments for the sponsored link but some may. Might it be worth doing this on a daily basis? Comment cleaning on adverts?
Sometimes I feel that I get too many meme styled posts from the page on Facebook. I think that this may be down to their algorithms thinking that I'd like these style of posts more as when I go onto facebook/RuneScape I see a lot of quality posts. It's awesome that you're working with the community but sometimes it feels like you're aiming your posts at people a lot younger than myself and I'm only 20!
So nice of you to be on all of that social media stuff. I am following you on most of it and I really enjoy all the work you are putting into it. I would love to see an RS Tumblr, and it would be awesome if you can sort out the DeviantART profile
