They should host it at the Grand Exchange, where you cannot have familiars. This would reduce lag. To put it in perspective a world will hold 2000 players, most worlds have 200 - 400 players on them doing whatever, so it stands to reason that there are roughly 1,500 people in that crater.

I also say it is a bad idea limiting it to a couple worlds on a weekend.

Make the lumb crater pet/familliar/avatar forbidden zone.
And also cannon free.
or stop hosting pointless events like this?
