Players are forgetting these kind of responses are an small inevitability on time base events on any MMO.

The fact of the matter is that a clear deadline was placed and it's your prerogative to complete the event or not. All players were given the same amount of time, rules, and perimeters to complete the event. Just because one player can't complete it, doesn't make it unjust for all players.

I came back to Runescape middle of the month with just enough time to complete the tasks and even woke up during early morning to hit the BST planned stamping events even though my timezone is quite far apart. Thanks to this thread, I was able to complete it with a bit of time to spare.

Thank for those who post the times and keep up on this thread!

Back Lash, find a timezone converter website (click the date-and-time hyperlinks in the JMod post at the start of QFC: 366-367-855-65376287, for an easy one), set the time you want converted from to "BST", set the time you want it converted into to "EST". At the moment of this writing, however, the first post still lists last week's scheduled stampings, so using it to translate that isn't very useful or helpful, unfortunately.

Ozzy, I agree with all your points. My main question dealt more with game management in terms of a consistent means of prior announcing of the stamping sessions. If I miss the sessions because of other life priorities, that's on me. However, I would like prior notice of some of these sessions as real-time monitoring is chancy at best.

I kinda get what you're saying, but on the same note, I don't think the mods themselves have a good amount of foreknowledge in regards to when or if they'll be doing an impromptu session. I mean, it's kind of a letdown if, say, Lee were to say "Hey, guys, I'm gonna to a stamping session later tonight!" and then winds up working himself tired and is no longer able to. I think it's just easier for them to decide, last-minute, that they're going to do a ninja session, than it is for them to set one up ahead of time. . .

But even just an in-game announcement saying "Mod X Is stamping in World Y at Location Z for the next ## minutes!" would be better than no notice at all. Even if they can't announce them hours in advance, there's no reason for them to not be advertised in-game when they're happening. There's no reason these secret "ninja" sessions should be happening. EVERYONE who is online at the time of the session should be equally notified, in-game, that the session is going on.

I'd actually thought, at first, that it was how they were announcing them, then I find out after joining the fc that I'd missed a few... go figure.
