Ok folks I am lost lost lost...seems I have to get a twitter account to play this game now...why do I have to get a twitter account (what happened to not advertising web sites anyway). I went to the 254-255-351-65360386 to find out when the next stamping is and it gave me a time for May 23rd. Too bad it was already May 24th and now May 25th. So I search and find a list of..."go here for up today accurate info. sites" and not one of them is correct. Not one. All this time has passed and I only found a stamping ONCE. I have no idea what to tell people who ask me?? What I am supposed to tell them??.. to also get on twitter??? Why not just announce it in the game. To everyone. Or make it a button on the side. I have no idea how you planned this out, but this hap hazard, find us on twitter is not working. Let me remind you I am paying to play this game, and I have wasted over half an hour on several days trying to track down a stamping session. Dare I ask for a refund? Few days left, I would like to get in on stamping, and have a concrete answer for people who ask me, so I don't come off like a fool. Do I sound angry...I am. I have been playing this game for what 14 years or so, and this is my first rant. Get your act together, make a page, a button, an announcement, some thing that tells what is going on and try to keep it updated. Folks this is no way to run a business much less a game!!!!

The correct answer is you don't need to find a j-mod to complete the road trip. There were 31 days to do the 20 tasks - plenty of time for you to do it on your own.

During the week as a bonus you are given minimum of 2 opportunities to get tasks stamped off that you don't want to do. Yes these are inconvenient in some time zones, but are done during business hours of the j-mods. no planned stampings were set for this or the last weekend. Some others are random surprise stampings by off duty j-mods as a special treat.

All of these j-mod stampings are only needed by those few players that cant do to being non combat or on dial-up that cant complete a timed task.

As its the 25th day of roadtrip - if you played the game daily - u should be well done by now. Many finished on the 10th

I think you missed the point. I agree you did not need the J-Mods at all, but since they put it out there, make it a fair playing field for all. If you advertise a page to look for stamping times then keep the page up to date and keep the information fresh, or take it down and scrap the idea. Don't ask me to tell people to go to another web site to get information. They put stamping into the game. It is a nice touch, but if I am supposed to tell people they don't need it, then why is it there. And since it is there, make it cohesive. Make it fair for all, make sure your P-Mods are not stuck between a rock and hard place with no satisfactory answers. It's about customer satisfaction, not customer dismay. Look at the posts, it is all very confusing. If P-Mods are confused how do you think the other players feel?

OTOH, there are at least three tasks which require empty inventories and/or carrying no items in hand. Some players (myself included) have full banks of items they wish to retain and thus can't achieve the empty state. As a result, the stamping sessions are definitely required to complete these tasks.

players can join the friends chat channel for the road trip (Roadtrip FC or Roadtrip 2) to gain accurate information on stamping when there are not people on purpose calling out fake stamping times. the roadtrip thread gets updated on a Monday with the scheduled times for stamping for the whole week. not all of us are confused with the information on the threads the jmods can't play the game 24/7 and can't be on stamping the journals all the time as they DO HAVE A LIFE YOU KNOW as well

I think you're overreacting. Neither phoenixphyre not myself were saying anything about jmods being available 24/7. What is desired is a more consistent means of informing players about the stamping sessions. Not all of us follow the various chat channels nor constantly monitor social media channels nor do we want to.

If there are no sessions scheduled for a given period of time, then update the first message in this thread to say so. If there are going to be impromptu stamping sessions, then say so in-game or update the first message even if it's a vague period ("soon after reset" for example). If I miss the message, that's my problem. But having no notice whatsoever doesn't allow any chance to participate.

Heck, I only found out about the JMods doing the ninja sessions by pure accident even with checking the beginning message of this thread.

i'm not over reacting from the number of people complaining on this thread it seems to me like you people think you are the only ones who have to work and have busy lives well there are other people too like jmods that work and have busy lives if you don't want to join the chat channel and or social media then that is up to you but it is better to get accurate information than missing out and not completing the roadtrip by joining the chat channel also information gets put onto this thread when there is stamping if people go to the last page and read the updated info they should get stamped all i'm saying is the Jmods are not just to blame here they try their best to be on when they should be working and people should be grateful to the Jmods to help people out when they can

Ad hominem replies don't advance the discussion.

That the JMods are doing this on their own time is laudable and I certainly appreciate their efforts. I've taken advantage of the stamping sessions when I've heard of them. The key, though, is the phrase "when I've heard of them". Several times, I've come to the last pages of this thread as you've suggested only to find out that a session had taken place hours previously with no further notice of possible sessions in the future.

Again, I'm not asking or demanding any more than what the JMods are already doing. If the original message in this thread had indicated the use of Twitter or the fc channels, then my not using those methods would be a lapse on my part. However, implementation of these channels with no updates to the original message leaves those of us who do not use them at a disadvantage.

Lol, Heist, cabbage facepunch etc.... Nobody plays them because they're dead content so you DO need a jagex mod.

I did do cabbage on this account, But was trying on my other one for ages and never got into a game.
