Great to see these community chronicles, not so great to see Twitter once again being pushed down our throats. Hasn't the Jmod mishap been more than enough evidence that this shouldn't be promoted as part of Runescape? =/

As for the Jagex visits; I don't know what it takes to be invited but I'm happy to see that you're going to make it more of a habit to invite your players in!

Sounds like the players who went to Jagex HQ had a great time.

Very impressed by the artwork for Tuska's general. With the death of Bandos, many people have already guessed that Tuska is likely to replace him, so it would be awesome to see this general make it into the game. And if it offered a whip upgrade as a drop, that would breathe some new life into a now pretty obsolete weapon.

I'd love to visit Jagex to be honest.. I've wanted to, ever since I first started looking into Jagex as a possible future career way back in 2009. I've known of quite a few people invited to Jagex, but I just never had the opportunity. :\

I don't mean to sound jealous or like I'm begging, but I just feel left out.. I've been playing this game for ten years (eight on this account), but I've seen quite a few players who are newer than I am get invited to Jagex, invited to modship (I really don't care about that anymore, as I think it'd kind of ruin the fun I have in the game), and commended left and right.. yet I (and I'm sure I'm not alone) seem to be overlooked.

Can I get a J-mod's response on what different ways players can improve their chances of being invited? I really, really would love to visit. Additionally, maybe some of the players that visited can answer this: will I need to pay for a passport and pay for the plane tickets? I live in the US. If I have to pay for the plane tickets, you can automatically disqualify me- I can't afford that. Now, passport-wise, I can probably afford that easier.

Anyways, nonetheless, I do say congrats to the ones who were invited. Sounds like fun, and maybe I'll get to meet you guys in the future or something.

A passion for RuneScape really helps you stand out, a lot of people have the misconception that being "popular" or a higher up figure gets you invited when that is not the case at all.

When we all went last week none of us really knew each other for the exception of a few people and some of the people there were ordinary players who have had great suggestions and have put a lot of work into improving the game as a whole.

Just keep doing what you are doing and stay true to yourself, maybe the day will come.
