dear sir, are you high? why are you attempting to yet again scam loyal rs members? really we have to now buy some in-game bond jibberis* to combat gold farming, which sorry but isn't it your job as the operators of this game to find those cheating and ban them? the way i see this is mearly a way for you to milk more money out of a dying game.

this update is a joke. your against real world trading so much.. but now your promoting it to further benefit your company before this game finally dies, you wonder why so many veteran players left and dont play any more? yea... you guys are so against real world trading that i can pay you $5 for a bond and sell it for an in-game benefit of 12m+ on the g-e.

good work on further destroying this game and making yourself and jagex as a company look more like the hypocrits you are.

and further more, looking at the item on the g-e it says "help your friends by trading them bonds so they can get membership, spins or runecoins free" you do know what the word free means right?

free: Adverb Without cost or payment

so clearly your even more full of **** when your SELLING THEM there not really free are they?

I don't see how this really stops the gold farming. Instead it turns Jagex into the ultimate gold farmer. Can't beat them...join them. What it also does is install another way for Jagex to sell in game capability for real world money. Don't want to be bothered earning something...buy it instead. For $15 I can now buy bonds that in the game are worth more than all of the GP I have accumulated over the last 6 years. For $50, the bonds have more value than not only my cash, but all of the other items and equipment I have accumulated. I have never purchased any GP from anyone. I feel that all my honest hard work within the game has just been devalued.

you can BUY membership with rs gp.... gold farmers farm GP...... soooooo gold farmers can now buy their membership with the gp they farmed so they can keep farming more gp and benefit from it in 2 ways now?

yea jagex good job on that one.....

Another thing that can make those bonds obsolete: If they plummet or are not traded on the GE. I can see someone spending $5 for 13M gp, but if they drop to 1000 GP in the GE or cannot translate them into gp, that will be a huge problem.

Just a followup thought to the livestream for the Jagex staff. Many of my friends and I have been discussing a current dilemma. The rage factor in the forums (especially around updates like this, which we have a range of opinions) has gotten so out of hand that many of us no longer bother to dig through the chronic, uninformed complaining that happens. We've generally come to the consensus that if we're going to give feedback, we'd like it to be in some other format that isn't trampled by the rage and ranting that has become typical in the forums. In the future, please consider additional means for us to provide feedback, for example by form or targeted email address. Personally, I realize that there is also great value in these forum formats, so I wouldn't suggest removing them. I'd just like to have alternatives for those of us who aren't up for a round of mudslinging. Thanks for all you do, and please know that many of us realize that your efforts are necessarily part of an on-going, evolving process. Have a great night!
