I'm interested in finding out whether the link between the RuneScape forums and the live game can be made stronger.

For example, creating a connection between popular ongoing events in the 'Events' forums and some form of in-game calendar could encourage even more players to participate in the events community; the calendar would be easy to access and could provide some brief details of each event including forum Quick-Find Codes/links to forum threads. It would be nice if this could be tailored to suit clans which would be great for clan events.

I'm also curious to know whether it would be possible to integrate in-game screenshots into forum threads. As an example, a player could capture and edit images in-game and, if used effectively, these relevant images could be added to forum threads to improve the quality of guides; this would encourage players to make use of these well-written threads that exist on the forums.

I'm confident that this has been suggested in the past: has this idea already been considered? Despite this, I understand that the use of screenshots may be difficult to control and may encourage spamming. Their addition may also make the forums more complex but I'm certain that this can be solved.
