I think regardless of the man's past, the best thing to do is give him the benefit of the doubt and trust that he and the others can produce great community oriented videos.

Seeing Jagex recruit a few talented video makers out of the country is very exhilarating. This is a move that Jagex had never intended in the past, but to see this, I'm fairly excited for the community. There are plenty of wonderful people within the community, and I would hopefully like to see Jagex recruit those apart from the video team. I could only imagine how that would play out, but I think it'd surely be an interesting move.

Guys, stop bringing up what this guy done, and think about ALL the positives, he has brought into runescape. E.g the creation of 2007scape and entertainment. Please guys, give So Wreck3d another chance :)
