When you've openly declared undying support for one community (OSRS) and openly criticized another (RS3/EOC) and it's CEO who the heck do you think you are to make that claim?

The sad thing about Jagex hiring 3 new puppets is that there are thousands of lambs that follow them, and as a result the streams wont 'bridge the gap' or even shine Jagex in a better light. Purely because the players who watched the streams for RS3 & to communicate with JAGEX will have their experience soured by the emergence of 3 people with less knowledge of the game than a radish.

Back to the thousands of lambs, due to this the streaming figures will be higher & Jagex being Jagex will deem it a success, when it's actually as it is now for each of you 3 guys but with their logo on it, not to mention an alienation of people who want to watch the organ grinders instead of the 3 wise men.

Support for Silentc0re and Regicidal they have ALOT of knowledge about Runescape and have had alot of recent gaming experience , but so wreck3d has what 1800 total? all he plays for is pking so yeah i dont support wreck3d getting this new title but good on him.

Wouldn't be surprised if Stokenut was already there, he could pass as a body double for MMG, check the first image result when searching 'Stonenut' :P

It annoys me how some of you are bashin Matt for being "underqualified" for this position. Since when do you need to grind every skill for countless hours fully understand all aspects of this game? Also, I think it's good Jagex to have hired a more pvp oriented player in order to diversify the jagex team. This could not only benefit OSRS but EOC aswell. So guys, don't jump to conclusions and apprecite each J-mod for what they have to offer to the community. Anyway, congrats Matt!

Fair point dude , but you have to admit there are alot more video makers that deserve this more than Matt.
