Please explain to me why you did not post information concerning this campfire to the mainpage days in advance to the actual event? Perhaps some more players might have wanted to join in? It is very ridiculous and very disrespectful towards the players to deceive them like this.
Here, I'll give you this strawberry if you keep it a secret!

It's asking you to buy the program used to do the chat program. You're questions won't get through now as the session is now finished. They won't reveal how the battle will change in the coming weeks, you'll have to wait and see.

Hey Jagex Team I will fight against the gods and not for another god agains another, when does the fight starts?
you destroy the game with your updates more and more, please open rs server 2011/2012, i will quitt in the next time, i will know, give it this year a fight agains the gods a clear yes or no???
nothing else !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
do you understand me ??
They won't open up more servers, that's stupid. It splits the game and harms it. I don't think they'll care if you quit. You may fight gods in quests. They won't read you're post as this has now finished.

Naturally, Jagex, you post this information on the mainpage until the event is practically over. I find it incredulous that you do it that way.
"Hey, let's have a live Q&A but not tell anyone about until after it's over, or post it on the mainpage (the main source of RS news because no one actually goes through social media or the forums for their news, and I am not being sarcastic in that statement) on the day of the event to make sure that almost no one will see it, on top of that, we'll make it so low profile that the Battle of Lumbridge -- which is not recent news -- is considered more recent news than this newspost that we just came out with today (which technically makes it new!)."
Jagex, you are just so incredibly brilliant. I simply cannot begin to fathom the sheer ingenuity of your practical sense of rationality. I am truly at a loss for words. Blech.
Community Management, it seems you have yet to learn about Time Management.
The homepage was updated with it about 30 minutes before the campfire began.
I think this was mainly the CM team testing the chat program out for future campfires which is why it was so spur of the moment.
The battle of Lumbridge features higher as it is considered more important.
Oh, another point: don't host things on twitter. Quit trying to be hipsters. Host everything concerning RS on the RS website. When you go to a social media site or any third party site, you make the content exclusive and unavailable for all players. That is considerably unfair where there is no reason for it to be unfair. I am very disappointed in Jagex's recent means of communication.
You have a website, kindly use it and stick to it and nothing else. You can attract players with social media, but do not use the social media as your main utiliy. I do not go to a RS fansite for my RS news, I go to the RS website. I should not have to go to a third party site to interact with the RS community. It should be strictly available on the RS website alone. I cannot stress that enough.
I hope you have a good day and I certainly hope that you realize that by engaging in social media and posting things in a manner that is practically too late is bad practice and should be avoided at all costs.
Good day to you, sirs and madames.
Here, I'll give you this strawberry if you keep it a secret!

To chat it wasn't just twitter. It was twitter, facebook or if you didn't want to use them you could use email.

They've always posted things like the campfires at the last minute. Always. Quite frankly, it's annoying and down-right stupid. They might as well forget the entire thing and not bother posting it at all.
I am fully aware of Jagex's misconceived perception of priority. I would say it is more important, but it's been out for a little while now, everyone knows it exists and it's taking up news space and it's hindering actually new news with minor pieces of considerably important information (such as patch updates) from being viewed or having any sense of priority at all.

Thank you for entirely ignoring the point. Shall I award you a gold star?
Edit: In case you somehow missed it, the point was that the "chat" should have been hosted on the RS website via the forums, making the chat available to all potentially interested players and not exclusive to third party communcations (social media and e-mail).

ok this is comeing from me its not to big of a deal but i did want to talk to the rs staff mods w/e lol never got a response to any of my help since i been posting not the bugs but the help idk people not looking or what but yeah the chat live would be nice if they had it later as well couse now i wont get my questions answered lol
Please post information a few days in advance so players who are interested will know a live chat is going to be happening. Posting the information on the day it is happening means a lot of players will miss the live chat because they won't know about it until it is over.
Hi.
