Tom Hookton did write a great letter. People quitting because of EoC is a big deal and we need more constructive posts like that, instead of "I hate U Jigglyplex" ragequitter rantings.

Jagex cleaned the hiscores of inactive accounts today, and it appears that approximately 27% of maxed-combat players have quit this month. I think that's a shockingly high number, and it kind of worries me.

As Tom pointed out, people who are mostly skillers (like me) find the game relatively unchanged. But a lot of combat-focused players seem to be pretty unhappy.

PS - If you want to see my math on the 27% number, I can post it.

bring old rs plis .. im cancelled my mem and quiting now ,, player since 2005-2012 thx jagex for good old moments, eoc ruined rs ..

we need the JAGEX MODS to read the the Forums that they have put up! and an answer to some posts would be nice!
we hate the EOC and would ether like it gone or some worlds just for runescape 2 players, but big enough for all the players that want to play on it (and not lag all the time)
its time you listened to your players as after all we pay for this game, and with out us you would have nothing, so please bring back the old runesape of 2011 it was a game every one enjoyed then,
if you keep going down this dead end road you won't have any members left only your loved bots.

Maybe do a poll in a few weeks once every one has tried EoC out properly ? I can tell u my answer would be a no ... but maybe it's an idea ? As prevously stated by "Raemonde" we do pay and maybe a poll would be the answer ?

Skyclad Jedi, I posted my thoughts on EOC before they ever relased it but it seems they weren't interested in negative feedback, you have to take the good with the bad - that's how you get better results. If all you're going to do is listen to those who say "oh yeah we love it" then you will be in for a shocking suprise. It doesn't suprise me to see how low the numbers have dropped, it is a very competitive gaming world and why Jagex thought for one second that they were immune to this I have no clue.

I do know that there were tons of members telling Jagex before they released it that they didn't like it, you can only take so many bad updates after another before you say to yourself "to heck with this I'm not paying $120.00 a year for this"!

People were paying to be members because before EOC it was a fairly user friendly game, but I still see tons and tons of bots running around - I logged in not even 10 minutes ago and there were more bots than actual players. I also see the numbers have dramtically dropped, that doesn't suprise me either - I knew it would happen.

On top of a lousy EOC combat system, they slap us in the face by dropping the price on our gear, and it is basically useless now - oh great thanks. Like I didn't lose enough money when free trade came out now this!!!! They keep slapping us in the face and we're suppose to say thank you? Well I canceled so that's $120.00 less dollars of coffee in the Jagex conference room they are getting from me.

I haven't posted much in the past, but I am sure making up for it now.

I highly doubt *he Jagex Mods are reading these posts, and if they are then they probably don't know what to say.

Here's an idea and I am betting most players would think it was great, in regards to improving combat - why not have it set up so that you can use your keyboard to perform special moves...wow there's a concept. How about being able to use the spacebar for evade or dodge? Hmmm? Or maybe just improve it so that we could use the arrow keys to move around? I would have loved to been able to perform combo moves but you can't. All they have done was make it more difficult to play, but does jagex want to hear that? nope.

If jagex thinks for one second that we will continue being slapped in the face and say "thank you jagex" well they just got a reality check!
