eoc is not wanted, niether are some of the other updates, i used 2 run rs in the highest graphics, then you changed taverly the game starting freezing n lagging, i switched to lower graphics, i still get lags, n somtimes my client just randomly closes, i nearly died at monkey skeletons cause of that, soon only high end computers will play rs, this eoc is going to ruin rs, its changing the whole game its not just an update its a new game, n if jagex carries on switching buildings round n changing graphics, my computer is not gunna run it anymore.

Why did they have to go and change all the armour :P i liked it way better before and this thing about EoC just make a new game for it so that people are forced to play sometinh they dont want to. i chose runescape over many other games for its uniqness now that this new combat system is coming in, its no different then games that use this

Well news flash for Jagex, with all the new updates and now EOC, hope they are anticipating a large portion of their members not being able to play because their graphics card won't be able to keep up. I just upgraded my laptop, but how many members are gonna run out and spend $600, *700 or $800 for a new laptop or pc? Desktops are relatively easy enough to upgrade your graphics card, depending on how old they are of course - but that would also mean a good chance of upgrading your motherboard as well.

Personally if this game doesn't run well on my new laptop I just bought then I am done, I'm not going out and spending more cash on a pc or laptop that has a gtx graphics card because that's the only graphics card that will be able to run runescape!!!! So I hope that Jagex in all their wisdon is keeping this in mind.

Personally am thinking about going back to my PS3 and XBOX games myself.

ive played the eoc, its ok but its not runescape, i could live with it if you kept the hp at 100's, took me while 2 get used to 100's when you changed it from 10's, but this new hp system is crap, it took me like 5 minutes to kill a black dragon with full bandos and a whipvine when in the main game i can kill a black drag in like 1min or less, this new hp system sucks, and how do you change melee style its confussing and stupid, and staves have become 2h, oh thats clever fighting metal drags with magic without a dfs or antifire shield, you need 2 re think this whole thing again.

You can only fiddle with the settings so much, I bought a new laptop with a better graphics card and yes it does run better on my new lappy - but how many players are gonna run out and buy a new *700/800 dollar lappy? What I don't get is Guild Wars graphics are 100% better than Runescape and the combat is similiar to Runescape as we know it now, bit more user friendly I think - but it runs so much better than Runescape - why is that?

Combat in EOC, though the fundamentals are the same, it has changed way too much on the same note. I agree with liana, ranging (lvl 85 range) black dragons in full armadyl armour, dfs, at full health and I struggle to kill even one black dragon and to boot I was taking damage from a distance - please explain this to me?

I honstly haven't been playing much anymore, been playing Guild Wars 2, mainlly because I know this EOC update will go into affect soon and once it is and it's just as frustrating as it is now then I'm done. I hear some of the Jmods are laughing it off about people quitting, comparing the EOC update to trivial updates like when they originally changed the hp and other trivial updates - this is not a trivial update. This changes combat all together for the players and it will make it 10x more difficult to do slayer tasks.

Have they been testing it themselves? Just baffling to me is all and I'm not trying to be negative here, trying to be constructive - I am for anything better. With other games there's an evade or dodge, I mean literally an evade or dodge - not a % that you may or may not evade a hit. EOC is still point and click, that hasn't changed - but what has changed is critical damage the players take. Still no combo moves, I mean literally combo moves - being able to switch from one to another quickly to increase damage. I still go in and check out EOC, hoping that it will be better this time - but so far I don't see any positive improvements to EOC or atleast none the masses will consider better.
