Surely the trailer should be high definition rolling graphics, rather than screenshots ?
This would give you maximum effect, if is going to be used for any promotional efforts.

May want to get the ball rolling on this advertisement video.

If it is televised on large mediums like american tv among others, and looks good it could bring in a large number of new interest in runescape which is something the game desperately needs provided the change it has made to suit that type of interest. Plus I know for a fact from knowing many of them, that there have been many recent changes desired by some veteran players that left a while back who would come back if made aware of those changes. The big problem with the RS population is that noone knows what is going on with it because it is literally advertised on no large mediums.

On that note I provide my highest reccomendation to make this trailer, make it fast yet make it amazing, and get it on large mediums (no obscure web pages don't count) the game needs new blood, and this could be the answer to that.

Do it right please, for your sake and ours. A chance to fully revitalize runescape with a new generation is not something you should let pass lightly.

Dear Mod,
I have thought of an idea for the trailer and have summed it up into points:
-Starts by man slowly walking down the steps of the lumbridge castle
-does not have any armour ( except hard leather boots and gloves)
-Walks over the bridge towards the goblins.
-Along the way he picks up pieces of rune armor. But we wont see him weilding it, itll just be there in the next shot.
-He'll take the route to varrock.
-From varrock, he'll go towards the wilderness.
-Just when he reaches the wilderness, he'll be in full rune(rune 2h).
-As he dramatically jumps over the wilderness line, the screen goes black and the logo of Runescape 3 pops up. When this happens, the sound effect will be like the one in inception(when the van is falling down).

The reason why i chose such a familiar path is because seeing something familiar in a trailer makes you feel nostalgia. It would remind me of the good times i would play runescape and go player killing. This is what will differentiate a Runescape trailer from any other online multiplayer game trailer. Seeing new places in a trailer would make me feel like its just another game and i dont have anyrhing to do with it.
