Damn right, I'm mad as hell. If your precious 07 servers had been slated to be released in April (like they were supposed to be, but I digress), and they built up and built up how great they were gonna be, told you they were ready, then released an update to the main game a week before they were supposed to come out, postponed the release until further notice, and gave you no info regarding it, you would be too.

I enjoy both '07scape and EoC, but damn, the posts on this thread just keep reminding me of how much I hate a lot of the community.

It's extremely hard to please everyone. I personally don't care that they're posting this on the main website, at least it isn't SoF promotions. People care so much about these little things, I understand it can get annoying, but bear with it. The '07 players aren't harming you, and you shouldn't harm them, and the '07 players shouldn't be arrogant with their retorts either, it doesn't make them look any better. The division of the community is just extremely stupid, especially when people complain about anything that comes out. There is always that one guy/girl that does.

Just freakin' stop.

I know they're not perfect. Look at the situation. I would not be upset that it was delayed if they hadn't said it was done, if it really needed more polish. I would not be upset if a mod hadn't ADMITTED, in-game, that the reason for the delay was not that it wasn't ready, but that they diverted all of their resources to 07. I wouldn't even be upset if both those things had happened and they would just GIVE US A FREAKING NEWS POST, acknowledge us and admit it. But no, none of those things are happening, and THAT, is why I'm upset. I'm not mad that it's delayed, I'm mad about why it's being delayed and how JAG is delaying it.

And @Star, I agree completely, as I said before I've been watching this whole thing unfold and have been gritting my teeth and telling myself they'll do something to make up for it- today was update day, and instead of a news post saying "we were hard at work on 07, don't worry, the quest is out next week", I get more 07 spam that doesn't even belong there. It was the straw that broke the camel's back, to be sure.

Also, I would like to see posts relevant to the main game, such as fixes to some aspects of it and news of progress of that new quest's development, but that is a different topic for a different thread.

I'm an extremely patient and neutral person, which was why I've still been around since '05, I only quit occasionally out of boredom, never because of updates, that's just being childish. I'm indifferent on most updates, but my gripe is with the community, and even ingame, a lot of people still annoy me with their attitudes, and it sometimes shines(not something to be proud of) on the forums.
