Oh, for the love of Pete. Look, I don't usually get upset to the point that I feel the need to post, but come ON. A lot of people are still playing the main game, don't care about 07-scape (really, really regretting voting at this point. Figured it would stop the anti-EOC whining that was flooding the forums), and want their damn game-changer of a quest! If you're gonna hype something like that, admit that it's ready, and release something else WAY early and mess it all up... just release the damn quest! Or at least give us SOME kind of info about it, a courtesy, non-07 post letting us know what's going on with it should be a given, but instead you're just constantly flipping us the bird and avoiding it entirely. Two update-less weeks, and a news feed bursting at the seams with 6-year-old content? Is your company tying the noose yet or what?

I laugh at how bad that argument is. The difference is, mistakes or not, rough edges or not, EOC is still Runescape. It's JAG's main game, it's what 07scape became. Now look, I have no problem with the 07 servers in theory, I think letting nostalgic people relive the "golden days" is great, I even logged on to remember what it was like a year after I started. The problem arises when they say it won't affect the main game and it does, when they confirm the quest is done, after building all of this hype, and push something else out two months early to make some extra money instead of releasing a finished, world-altering, best update of the month quest on time, when they flood the news page of the MAIN GAME with news that has its own page for people that care about it, and don't even give the current players the courtesy of a "sorry, its delayed" post. No, your servers are great, have fun on them, but them abandoning the game the rest of us are playing is screwed up.

You all know you can vote more then once for 2007 runescape. It says on the old runescape site as one of a comment by a mod, it says you can re enter you vote after you have already voted, so vote more then once!!!!! Lets get this too 500k

Reality check, they didn't abandon the real game for EOC, the game evolved and grew as it grew up and so did its member base. While EOC is far from perfect, it is much more relate-able to every other MMO out there now, and it's getting updates all the time. Saying EOC killed Runescape just because you disagreed with the changes that were made is both childish and close-minded. Your opinion is just that, an opinion, and you need to think of it as such. As for JAG lying, I expected it, which is why I wasn't surprised that the quest didn't come out LAST week when the February BTS said it would. Because I get that when JaGeX says "subject to change", they mean "don't count on it". The way they are STILL going about it is infuriating, and the much more than 50% of RS players still on the main game agree with me.
