I am sad to of waisted my time. I waited there for an hour, only ti find out that only ONE person was to recieve a petty amount of runecoins. This kind of event is a waiste of time. Being a person who puts money in your wallets... I would htink that a celebration for RS would be a celebration for all... The fact that only a handfull of people got a less then a handfull of a reward is just sad. Please Jagex DO NOT waiste our time. "Events" such as these needs a warning that the prizes will be next to none for a group of people that is also next to none. I am sure many of us had other things we could have been doing then sitting around and being let down.

This event was not just for Runecoins, it was to come together as a Community and have fun. I would rather have a party with people who just want to have fun and not with people who just came to get a reward. At the end of the day if you felt that it was a waste of your time then you came for all the wrong reasons.

Hi Grim Chaos5 ,

Many players came to these events just to celebrate 12 years of RuneScape as a great milestone and had a lot of fun. I think it was nice to throw in some extra rewards and make it a challenge rather than a massive give-away. It is also clearly stated at the first page of this thread: "During the parties Sushi Pi, Phoenix and Sabre will post special anniversary codes into the public chat and the first to redeem these with Diango will find 200 RuneCoins on their account!"

I really enjoyed the parties. It was very laggy but fun none the less. I made my account in rs classic in 2003 and I miss it. But I do still love this game. I quit for 8 - 9 yrs and when I started playing again it was like I stepped through a time warp lol. It was a lot to get used to. Anyway, happy 12th runescape and keep up the great work!

I don't think you read the post by Grim in the manner it was written.

To be honest, if I want Runecoins I will buy them. 200 Runecoins? Honestly? Given the amount of frustration and disappointment this will bring, do you really think that either myself, or any other serious member of the RS community, are going to waste their time on this kind of random nonsense?

I'm glad you guys log in and feel a sense of approval by handing out 20c pieces. I would rather you log in and talk to random people and ask them their ideas and opinions about the game.
