Hello Mr. Church! I recently finished "Betrayal at Falador," and I absolutely LOVED it! I have a few questions I'd like you to answer, which are as follows:
1. What inspired you to write this novel?
2. I thought it was wonderful how you used p2p locations and people in slight moderation, so that the book was easy for f2p players to understand, but still included p2p content for readers that were members. Was this hard to accomplish?
3. Was it difficult to write this book and at the same time continue making sure that you didn't contradict any of Runescape's storyline?
4. What gave you the idea for a white knight traitor?
5 (suggestion/question). As you probably know, a player in the Runescape game with mere adamant equipment would be literally SHREDDED in mere seconds by most monsters in the game, werewolves included. And white knights that consider adamant to be a strong and valuable metal suddenly seem only a little bit more threatening than a few goblins. Is there a reason that strong equipment is not used? If so, what is it? If not, could you please add melee equipment such as dragon/godswords/rune, etc. to your next book?
6. What will the main theme be in "Return to Canifis?"
7. Will you write a third RS book? If so, what would it be about?
Thank you for your time. Again, your book was AWESOME!!!!! Thanks so muchfor writing it!

mr.Church, i would just like to say how cool your book is! you are a great author!
i have a couple more questions...
Whis is "the geraffe" who the book is deticated? why is this perosn special to you?
what would Werewolf language sound like? what is the language called?
how did you picture the charactors, while writing the book?
is it true that return to the Canifs is Supposed to be Darker, and more graphic than Betrayal at Falador? (i hope not!)
Who did the cover art, with Kara and Gar'th (i think it's him?) on the cover, and doric theadore and castimere on the back? who did the one with Kara-meir fighting that figure, who i suppose is sulla?
also, not really a question, but in the game, i roleplay like Gar'th! a werewolf who uses his power to the will of Saradomin (and also Armadyl, Zaros, and Guthix
)
Thank you, Mr. Church!
your Fan

Hello,
1) How Long did you play runescape for, before trying to write a Novel on it?
2) What Is your user name? (I know you probably wont tell for privacy, but I thought because Im curious and this is a Q&A thread I might as well
3) What inspired you to create this book (the history of runescape, the game itself, the players?)
4) Also with the new book "Return to canfis" is it just planned to be based around canfis. because in a way. its quite a small place. I hope you can make it intresting
Thanks.

As an aspiring author, I would like to ask Mr. Church if he prefers energy drinks to sugar-laden sweets - for those late nights chiseling at the marble block that is a story.
I'm sure he would understand that writing a novel - or any literary piece for that matter - can be time-consuming and twitch-inducing. I don't particularly enjoy the twitches, but they do get the creative juices out o,o
Whoever believes that the pen is mightier than the sword should take note that without caffeine, that darned pen can only go so far.

I only read the first chapter, but it was awesome. Anyway, onto the questions.
1)Why did you decide to write a Runescape book, instead of another topic?
2)How long did it take you to write it?
3)Did you have very much writer's block?
4)How do you feel that your book is a hit?
5)Am I asking too many questions?

I have to say I've only read the first chapter of the book, but I am interested and might get it. Anyways, I only have a couple of questions for you, Mr. Church.
1. What tips do you have for a writer like myself? I sometimes write in my free time.
2. In Runescape, what's your favorite series of quests (Dwarf, Void Knight, Dorgeshuun goblin, etc.) and why?
3. Also... What games do you play, if any, in your free time?
Mr. Church, I read the first chapter of your book and I have to say it looks pretty good so far. I just have a couple of questions:
1: When you wrote this book, did you have Jagex work as a kind of reference to help write it?
2: Have you ever played Runescape or had an account?
3: Do you bear any resemblence to Winston Churchill (I don't know, your name just reminds me of him)?
Top of the afternoon guys!
Well, Mr T S Church is in town and Mod Hohbein and I are just about to go grab him from the hotel and take him out for some dinner before we get going with tonight's Q&A session.
I couldn't help but notice that there's no picture of him in the sleeve notes so we'll grab some photos of him and post them on our facebook page throughout the evening.
If you've any requests for entertaining pictures or can recommend something decent for dessert, let us know. ; ) I'll let you know the options once I get to see the menu!
Right then, I better go get some beverages ready for our return so we'll see you in a couple of hours.
See you in a bit. =)
Paul M
excuse me, oh honorable Mod Paul M,
are you Paul Gower? that guy is awesome! =D
hee hee, sorry...i have an idea for a pic
you could be holding some kind of wep-looking-thing, with Mr. Church on the ground, in a dead pose, with a copy of the book, and you are saying "w00t! BAF drop!"
it's a little strange, but, you know...i am too...
say hello to Mr. Church, for me, plz!
